They are ****ing idiots.

Yes Pathetic

TBH; this had crossed my mind too. The REAL BLM movement surely CANNOT be that stupid.

I think people with a brain understand the original premise of Black lives matter and understand that with every movement come opportunists. People that never actual cared about the movement are just going to use incidents like this to further discredit what it was actually about.

I find this outrage kind of hypocritical too since there was no outrage about the protest disrupting cross channel travelling yesterday from people protesting against refugee camp.

Because the camps are growing and Calais is fast becoming a port to avoid rather than go through, seems a legitimate protest to me for both residents and businesses alike, if the City Airport protesters were protesting about climate change for the whole community they might have had some sympathy.

But last time they protested people found a reason not to listen. When they protested against actual deaths there was a reason not to listen. People always find excuses not to listen.

Whether you think their protest is legitimate or not the bottom line is if you're outraged about travel chaos caused yesterday you should have also been outraged about the chaos the day before. So to me the outrage is more about who the protest is coming from.

well of course people evaluate an action by its reason. The reason for the action at the airport yesterday was nonsensical, so it got the appropriate reaction.

I'm shocked there isn't more outrage about these boneheads weakening the ligitimate message of BLM in the US. They've made themselves, and the cause, look silly. If I was something to do with ehe BLM movement in the US I'd be bloody angry about what they did and what they said.

Just about sums up BLM UK for me

pathetic

There's always a response. The initial response was blacks kill blacks so why complain about police brutality. It's equivalent to whites kill whites so why are there any sort of justice laws. Always an excuse. I don't actually know the legitimacy of the quotes and full context of what those people meant yesterday based on what's been put out but I doubt someone would actually care to sit with them and discuss what they actually meant. Nyways

indeed you should definitely march against that oppression across the gatwick airport, I wear glasses and in the steamy hot weather they tend to slip down my nose a bit....Its high time, the 4 eyed bespectacled under class,, ran riot across heathrow runway too....our cause is easily as just as BLM UK

Kizzy 08-09-2016 08:47 PM

Maybe it means the communities where ethnic minorities live are in areas where there are large conurbations which have high levels of air pollution?
