the date is irrelevant, if a doctor has not diagnosed you that you have the flue then you have not got it

The date is bloody relevant when you're repeating your judgemental self over a year later.

And you diagnosing her over the internet 14 months later is even funnier.

I had a really weird experience today. Woke up with a headache and sore back of my nasal passages, then nausea, extreme exhaustian and heavy joints came on. Now the nausea, exhaustion and headache have gone, and all I have is a bit of fatigue and a mildly runny nose. What tf is going on.

Sounds like death is approaching.

No Ness you have a cold. Have you been diagnosed by a qualified Doctor?

Yes, if she has not been diagnosed by a doctor then its a cold. Flu is a serious illness and requires a doctor. I take it you have been lucky enough not to have had it?

:suspect:

Was this "flu" diagnose by a qualified doctor each time (unlikely)

How is it unlikely? :umm2:

I had it 13 years ago and last November. And, yes, both times required prescriptions from my doctor.

Livia 12-01-2018 04:42 PM

I used to say I had the flu when I had a cold. Then I got the flu. I was so ill that I couldn't get out of bed for over a week. I honestly thought I was dying. I get a flu jab now.

Underscore 12-01-2018 04:43 PM

Having a cold during school is awful.

Had my flu jab.
Still get the cold bugs that go around though, rough before Xmas, still ruddy rough after The New Year, spent the first 9 days upstairs, sleeping and coughing and sleeping and coughing and sleeping....
Feel so much better today:cheer2:

Jessica. 01-09-2018 12:30 AM

I am fuming, I have a flu again.

LaLaLand 01-09-2018 12:31 AM

November into December is usually my "cold time", never fails.

Calderyon 01-09-2018 12:40 AM

Drink ginger tea. Add quite a bit of honey in it.

Especially good when having a headache.

Epic. 01-09-2018 01:28 AM

Yeah I'm in agony

Jessica. 01-09-2018 03:16 AM

Get well soon

Jessica. 10-10-2019 02:05 PM

I have the flu, it's killing me, it's just day two now. :bawling:

Vanessa 10-10-2019 02:57 PM

No, just a bit of a sore throat. Need to take a lemsip.

Matthew. 10-10-2019 03:01 PM

Had a cold two weeks ago but last weekend I got my flu jab

Daniel. 10-10-2019 03:04 PM

I have had one about a month ago, but not at the moment. It was pretty awful, one of the worst I remember having.

LaLaLand 10-10-2019 04:40 PM

Yes. Had it about a week or so but it’s on the way out now. Was horrible last weekend, couldn’t breathe, coughing, sneezing, head killing, shivering etc.

I’ve had it, my Mam, my sister and my Dad’s now got it and it’s gone into a chest infection so he’s on antibiotics, same with my Great Aunt.

BUT I’d rather have a cold than anything like a bad sickness bug so can’t complain much! :skull:
