Not as iconic as Rex spending the whole budget on mystery tokens though and making the producers panic about what the **** to give for all the prizes :D

Rex's ex girl friend who was his gf at the time
and some baskets and games etc

Cal. 04-07-2017 02:15 PM

TRASH.

Should have spent it on booze.

DouglasS 04-07-2017 02:16 PM

I think it was genius to put a housemate as one of the mystery prizes [Despite as awful as Nicole ended up being...]

Instead, he delivered the group 57 pointless and wacky items, including a doll's pram, a gold cardboard crown and a horse costume.

And to ensure the contestants don't starve in the coming week, Big Brother also handed over edible goodies - like spicy chilies, a whole octopus and an entire frozen lamb.

Vicky. 04-07-2017 02:17 PM

Oh **** yeah, I forgot Nicole was one of the mystery prizes  That was clearly to punish him for what he did with the tokens

the death of the housemates?

i think they would enjoy alcohol so i don't think anything would happen but i thought that about chocolate but Luke A and Adam went mad lmao which is why i loved it. chocolate > cigarettes

Jarrod 04-07-2017 02:19 PM

I couldn't deal! They don't put locks on the doors for normal Big Brother either. Celebrity BB get locks and the cameras removed.

Glenn-C 04-07-2017 02:24 PM

Well I mean unless you're doing something really interesting in there it won't end up on TV so I wouldn't be that worried

Gstar 04-07-2017 02:31 PM

Omg Luke you're watching BB5, have you seen the bit where Emma walks in on Victor having a **** yet?

armand.kay 04-07-2017 02:47 PM

I would't really mind tbh, you don't really see much when someone is on the loo anyway. It's not like you sit with you legs wide open and your dick resting on the seat.

Not yet, is that the part where the problems between them started?

I *think* the rule back then was that they couldn't spend more than 10% of the shopping budget on alcohol. So they could have bought...7 quids worth of booze at that stage :D

armand.kay 04-07-2017 02:50 PM

Tbf they were pretty drunk a lot of the time in bb3.

Wasn't that usually as a result of task prizes? So long ago I don't really remember. There was definitely some rule about only being able to spend so much on booze..I remember them talking ab out it in bb6 (another one where some got extremely pissed  )

On a luxury budget 10% would be like 50 quid. Enough to get a fair few of the house very drunk one/two nights if they picked the budget alcohol. It may have been 20%

Vicky. 04-07-2017 02:57 PM

Nevermiund, seems the 10% alcohol budget was agreed between housemates, not a BB rule

I would definitely just spend it all on drink tbh. They will not allow you to starve. The tokens thing was still fantastic though :D

armand.kay 04-07-2017 03:04 PM

I think they introduced the drink cap later on, something about people complaining about how much they were drinking. I think even when they could buy all the booze they wanted BB still rationed it out throughout the week

i'm re-watching BB5 and they stopped them ordering booze from the shopping list, they only get alcohol if BB puts them in the fridge which sometimes has a lock.

Ah yes. The serial complainers :D

Quite why people watch reality tv to then complain about reality is beyond me tbh

They probably got in trouble for having that bar in bb4 that was just constant alcohol on tap

I wouldn't have a problem with the camera. After all, they are not going to show you having a wee or poo on TV.
My issue with the toilet situation is that there seem to be are no locks on the doors so that's what wouldn't help me relax.
