It's just fatigue

It's been on air for 18 years are currently we have 3 series per year, it was only a matter of time

Produced by and starring sheep.

let's not beat about the bush, the program as it stands now is a complete load of ****. It only retains its current level of viewership from past loyalty to the program. If this were a fresh show this year, no-one would be watching. It has nothing of substance or entertainment to offer.

The biggest reason the show is going down the pan imo is the GBP. They consistently vote out the interesting characters (Sukvinder, Mandy) in favour of reality star wannabes.

BB has no control over that. I don't know how it's going to change though because it's a vicious cycle. They have to give the public what they want and the public seems to want these trashy characters.

1. Big Brother do not know their viewing audience, they have a mixture of different generations and not just one. They have got loads of people from EOTB and weekender this season which is what the young generation would watch not the older generation so it's quite off putting for them. Love Island knows their target audience which is completely different to big brothers audience.

I agree, I think the producers are misunderstanding their audience. There was a BBC article before this series asking who still watches BB and it said how most of the viewers are older whereas a show like Love Island is watched pretty much exclusively by the 18-30 demographic. This group isn't actually that interested in BB though and they need to stop thinking that this is where all their viewers are.

Yep and they need to stop trying to change it into shows like that or the TOWIE type of shows as well. People who watch those shows don't need to watch BB when they can just watch one of those and if I wanted to watch a show like that I would but I don't because I don't like them

Is LI scripted like TOWIE? I never can quite figure it out?

I totally agree with this list.
