Nip up over the border and buy some

But beware we call it 'wreck the hoose juice' or 'a bottle of who the **** you looking at' :omgno:

Got arrested quite a few times years ago when we used to drink it :idc:

Good times :hee:

:joker::joker: I've heard the rumours, and its makes me more keen! A trip to Scotland would probably cost me over £100, so this scammer on Amazon nips it. There was someone else selling 6 for £44, but thats a guaranteed life sentence.

caprimint 31-08-2017 10:05 PM

Yeah, I love irn bru :flutter: Haven't had it in ages though.

LemonJam 31-08-2017 10:10 PM

Best carbonated drink around, no competition.

Marsh. 31-08-2017 10:31 PM

Tried it, Like it. But never a drink I choose to buy.

Not you wrong as usual

Quote:

The beverage has entered the popular lexicon with nicknames such as "Wreck the Hoose Juice",[14][15][16] "Commotion Lotion",[14][15] "Cumbernauld Rocket Fuel",[15] "Mrs. Brown",[14] "Buckie Baracas",[17] "Coatbridge Table Wine",[17] and a bottle of "what the hell are you looking at?"[17] It has also earned the unofficial slogan, "Buckfast: gets you ****ed fast".[16] The drink's prominence within the "Buckfast/Buckie Triangle" – an area east of Glasgow between Airdrie, Coatbridge and Cumbernauld – has raised concern.[16][17] In addition, the glass bottle has been blamed for contributing to litter and providing drunkards with a weapon.[15][17]

"Cumbernauld Rocket Fuel" :joker::joker:

Buckfast is utterly foul guys. Come on.

However Irn Bru is delicious and everyone knows it. When I worked in England we replaced the Fanta in the customer vending fridge with Irn Bru. Instant best seller, started outpacing Coke within 2 months. Mighty bru.

Crimson Dynamo 01-09-2017 07:19 AM

Funnily enough it was in Cumbernauld when I first had a go on Buckfast!

First year disco at the High School.

I remember when I moved down to London and people would say "oi get us a can of dwink"

I was horrified

Where I was brought up the generic name was a can of ginger

or ba-broo for irn bru

Babayaro. 01-09-2017 12:52 PM

I like to call my fizzy drinks a bottle of "what the hell are you looking at?"

Crimson Dynamo 01-09-2017 12:54 PM

I think the worst thing you can say is "squash" for diluting juice

:yuk:
