For folks my age he was a childrens tv regular and then went on to be a national treasure. he was brilliant in Extras and Life's too Short written by Ricky Gervais

But he will always be Cheggers from Cheggers Plays Pop and Saturday Superstore for me

Certainly not! How very dare you even think that ! We all loved Cheggers , very sad i didn't even know he had been ill, great he made it to his sister Janice's wedding, she must be gutted.

just normal speculation. That lung disease was more likely inherited however and is not a smoking related illness although id guess it certainly does not help.

There was a programme on telly recently about lung cancer and sufferers were saying it's so annoying when people say "were you a smoker?" Like, if you were, you deserve it. No one says to people with AIDS, "Sleep with someone infected, did you?" because it would be insensitive and rude. Didn't see Hopkins' tweet. Isn't she busy getting a sex change? Or was that last week.

Anyhoo... poor old Keith. 60 is no age, what a shame.

i grew up watching Keith in his prime, and there wasn't a more bubbly presenter around. Always full of fun, and willing to do anything for a bit of entertainment, even if the joke was on him. They don't make them like that anymore

good point, but none the less it was someones opinion and not meant to be aired, the outrage has now turned to fury apparently

So upsetting hearing about this, he seemed like such a fun and lovely man. He had a great career and brought a lot of happiness to people, RIP :love:

He used to come to our local farmshop/garage,he moved to Shropshire a while ago and often was seen at the garage,lovely man,far too young.
