Having seen the fall out today in the social media and press, it seems that the consensus has now turned into outrage towards Daniel.

There are many decent people who don't feel the need to speak up unless there is something needed to be said and it is what they are now doing.

All Daniel wants is to shock and be known for his notoriety, whatever he says to the difference. All he wants, as do the other nonentities in there is to push boundaries to make him get noticed and if an elderly 70 year old women gets hurt then she is collateral damage.

Ann is a human being who values her standards, morals and religion, but she still is a woman with feelings which can be hurt by these sick remarks about her past.

Totally agree it's just a shame they chose to save Dopey Dapper and not Ann :fist:

I'd love to see him thrown out by BB for that remark. I absolutely hate the thoughts of how Ann is going to feel when she sees that.

Good comedy shouldn't come from ridiculing someone. Particularly if that someone has just saved your bacon. His comments were very hurtful, no matter how thick skinned Ann may be

I'm currently watching CBB17 which is already filled with moments & comments that are 100x worse than this (which are also funny tbh lol :hehe:) but people on this forum can find that funny but take a little sexual joke as disgusting. People have a pre-conceived view on Daniel and anything and everything will tick most people here off when it's HIM doing it. All eyes on him. :eyes:

To be fair it was disrespectful, it's not like it was a clean joke I'll say that, but in the end it is still just an off-the-cuff joke that he didn't mean seriously or hurtfully and people shouldn't take so seriously & personally. It's really not that bad at all and Ann wouldn't care as long as she's not around to hear it / see it, it's what she's said herself. Plus Daniel felt bad about it afterwards but he's a joker and jokes just fly out of his mouth without a filter. Jokers gonna joke. :joker:

Inane remarks regarding politics or currents affairs are how you describe but a exceedingly personal sexual innuendo about a religious single lady of 70 years of age is a very different case.

You are not thinking it through from Anne's perspective. It might not matter to you or someone in different circumstances or religious leanings.

Ann is an elderly woman who does not invite her personal space invaded or indeed her personal life intruded upon. Therefore unwarranted personal sexual references would be abhorrent to her.

Maybe but she's pretty tough and has spent her life in a role where she has been subjected to serious criticism and often abuse - she will have heard much worse. I imagine that she would be offended by it but also that she won't dwell on it for more than a couple of minutes at most

She wouldn't have been subjected to the same sort of sexual abuse in her work role or she could have taken it further.
