Alf 27-04-2018 11:03 AM

Isn't Louis a bit french?

GiRTh 27-04-2018 11:38 AM

Louis eh? Must be a tribute to Earl Mountbatten.

EDIT: Hang on William wasn't even born when Mountbatten died

Well, I mean, he COULD be... if his siblings are infertile and die before him, then he will indeed be king. Or does the sister even count? I'm sure I remember reading that they were changing it so that it was just eldest, not eldest male, in the hereditary hierarchy. If I'm making that up, then he only needs to sterilise and outlive George.

Just saying my congratulations four days late! :joker:

Pretty sure they just made it gender neutral, they've been referring to the new baby as 5th in line

I think they did change that while Kate was pregnant with George (turns out it didn't matter anyway) or they atleast said they were going to?

Yeah it goes in order of birth now regardless of sex.

Jessica. 30-04-2018 02:53 PM

I like his name

smudgie 01-05-2018 04:02 PM

He should have had George as one of his middle names, him being born on St. George's day.
George has Louis as one of his middle names so I can't see why not.
