His employment, financial and marital status have nothing to do with the fact that Britney is paying a tiny fraction of what she earns in child support. If she was a man she wouldn't get away with it. If she'd have paid to her kids what she paid for a lawyer to strike that deal for her, things might be different. She doesn't get different treatment because she's a mother, not a father.

No one enjoys bringing up her past mental health issues, but they are the thing that most people who aren't starry-eyed fans remember. And is she really over it? Is she? Reeeeally?

At the end of the day both parents should support their children. Kevin does not work and if you look up the court documents the reason Britney's team are angry is because the $20,000 Kevin gets a month is to feed and cloth them. She pays for their schooling, she pays for their security which includes a car for them to be safely transported back and two and added expenses and she spends a lot more time with them than people are claiming, they simply live with Kevin.

I can't confirm but some people on twitter were saying Kevin used the money Britney gives him to take his other kids on holiday while Sean and Jayden were with Britney. Why should she fund his vacations?

He's apparently threatening to keep the kids away now unless she upps how much she pays.

So using their children as a weapon for money. Classy.

He is the father of her children. Most absent fathers pay a large percentage of their salary for child support. Britney does not. And whatever he spends the money on is of no concern to Britney or her team. She pays the money to him, what he does with it is none of her business, legally.

I don't know that she pays for security etc. But if she does then she's paying to keep her kids safe out of the millions and millions she's paid every year. Someone cited the case of Eddie Murphy and Mel B. Of course that was different because it is a man paying and a woman receiving.

Maybe if she isn't satisfied the kids are getting the right upbringing, she should file for custody and finally - finally - take care of her responsibilities.

It's her money she's worked for it, and like I said £20K a month for two kids is a massive amount? why should she give him more when he will use it for himself which is what his aim is since his income has been lower since 2008 which isn't britney' fault he should of taking care of the money he had and not blown it all, he doesn't need the money to pay for most of the kids stuff because britney already has supported her children's schooling, health and transport. blah blah the old "what if???" we switched the gender roles argument is boring and invalid in this situation as it would still be the same.

yes she is? what evidence do you have to proof that she's not? she has performed at vegas for three plus years in a highly successful residency that has been critically praised as well, and she's about to embark on a sold out European Tour this summer, she also is in a fit and healthy state physically I don't see any reason anyone would bring up mental health issues from ten years ago acting like no one can be healed? mental health is much like a physical health issue it can be cured.

As for her mental health issues, yes people can get better, she clearly isn't.

I don't think it's fair to take aim at Britney for her parenting or control of her wealth either considering she does suffer from mental illness and she's probably doing what she can.

Whilst I think that she should be paying more for her kids, It's annoyingly sexist for her to say : but what kind of woman is not taking care of her own two kids as a full time mother
