That’s 2 people who’ve said they know people at the second stage and mentioned the ‘lucy one golden Ticket’ thing now  anyway I’m almost 99% certain it ends by November, the people working there only have a 3 month contract from now? lol

I heard it would be on for the 'normal' length of time but all housemates must sign a contract which states that it might be up to 14 weeks long.

The staff are contracted for the minimal amount of time, so that the production company does not have to pay them for hours that they do not end up working for if it does only run for 7 weeks, but if quote 'the ratings go through the roof' then it will be extended. eg the staffs contracts will be extended accordingly and will just count as over time.

But for the housemates to win the price money, they will need to stay through to the end so according to there contract this will state that it could be up to 14 weeks, but most likely it would just be 7 or 8 weeks, but in accordance to the contract, If bb choose to run the show on for longer, and if the contestants need to leave at any stage, hence not win the prize money, then there 14 week contract will prevent them from sueing the company for suggesting that they could win the price if they only stay for 7 weeks. So if BB does extend the contract will cover BB.

They can't tell housemates that it will run for 7 weeks then once there in change it to 14 weeks, but they can say that it may run for 14 weeks then later say that its actually just 7.
