Well in fairness, the weather was pretty bad down in London today, I don't think people would of wanted to wait in line, for who knows how long in the rain.

Yeah I get that but Southbank is allways busy hence why they probably chose that spot with all the passing crowd.

The eye looks amazing though and well done on them for actually building a neon one when they could have just put up a pic.

How funny aswell that weve had a heatwave all summer and BB Eye Of The Storm comes to London for some promo and it literally lashes down! :joker:

Why was it in the middle of the street

It wasn't it was in a very famous area in London outside the old This Morning studios and the OXO tower.

Its a public gathering area basically allways full of tourists.

They are.. well, Leeds on Tuesday, Manchester on Thursday.

They were there for 9 hours and Charlotte, Scotty and Bianca showed up for 3 hours, but that was when there was *actually* a storm :laugh:

I mean actual billboards you know like the ones on bus stops and in shopping centres or just basic advertising on the high streets. Its cheap and gets a lot more attention than 3 promotional stops which no one seemed to show up to.

I do love that eye they built for it though so props for that...They just allways seem to miss the mark on promo period for instance every other channel has a sign in the top left hand corner of the screen daily when they have a new show starting...The impact of having that countdown for 7 days for every Channel 5 viewer to see wouldn't cost them a penny.

I went on my lunch break around 1pm and there was a fair few people getting involved. The entire thing had a bit of buzz about it. Members of staff were giving out leaflets about the competition, they had CBB Housemates there too.

The sign you can see doesn't say "stand here" - it's a filming notice as they were filming parts.

So, they put a billboard up for people to take pictures in front of?
