I think you have definitely spotted something there with the blue pink divide Matt. Well done.

Matt 01-06-2007 04:18 PM

Even more suspicious numbers - though it should be noted that this time they are all in one shot, unlike the others which were only shown one at a time:

15,232
184
360

then on the next shot it shows:

15,232
400

Blink_Me 01-06-2007 04:18 PM

The battle, anyone?

Naw. Triangles aren't symmetrical.

They are! they are equalateral ones meaning if it was split down the centre it would be the same on each side
OH! Forgot about that. Haha. I was thinking halway instead of through a point on the triangle.

Matt 01-06-2007 04:23 PM

Yet more suspicious numbers, again all on the same shot:

224,
304,
16,200

Matt 01-06-2007 04:24 PM

And more numbers, all on the same shot:

64,
128,
15,736

Riz 01-06-2007 04:28 PM

whwere do u keep geting the numbers from?

Matt 01-06-2007 04:32 PM

Im scanning the titles frame by frame and noting the numbers.

And even more numbers, however this time more interesting. I'll attach the shot, and the numbers (clockwise from left) are:

32,
352,
120,
40,
1200,
16,056,
72,
112

Matt 01-06-2007 04:33 PM

...and that's it.

Blink_Me 01-06-2007 04:35 PM

There might be a big safe where they need to enter a code to get to both sides. I don't know.

OK, its time for my annual 'lets-get-cryptic-about-the-Big-Brother-titles' moment.

After a gold person represented the golden ticket winner in the BB7 titles, and the 'Masters and Servants' task of CBB5 was hinted towards in the titles for CBB5, I thought I should post my thoughts on the forum.

After spotting this shot in the titles, I thought 'what could this represent'?

As we all know (probably), blue is a common stereotypical colour for boys, and pink is the equivalent colour for girls.

So when I spotted this shot in the titles, I thought 'Does this mean anything? Could there be a boy/girl divide in the house?'

My mind is going a mile a minute at the moment. What are your thoughts?
Very impressive sleuthing!! And I think you're onto something with the whole blue/pink thing!

I'm very tempted to make you the first person I give positive karma to!

I am referring to some of the figures in Matt's discorvery. I think there could be a message hidden in the patterns of the figures.

First here's the figures in the titles: 32 52 72 120 696 800 1567 15,808.

The first 3 numbers follow the pattern 20n+12, which is a nice flowing pattern of even numbers. This could mean the nice even flow of the first 3 days (as it's the first three numbers).

This then gets turned on its head by the pattern getting ruined at the end of the third number/fourth number by the huge jump from 72 to 120. The end of the third day and a man goes in who turns everything on its head with no pattern for the rest of the time, full of confusion (like the rest of the numbers suggest).

This is probably going in too deep but what do you think?

bighead 01-06-2007 04:45 PM

that may make sense plus, the house is pink for the girls, is the other house blue for boys, it would not suprise

Matt 01-06-2007 04:47 PM

You never know...

Yeah So Do i, i only noticed the 15,808 one.

MR.K! 01-06-2007 05:52 PM

there is also a flash of a devil in the titles

Matt 01-06-2007 06:32 PM

Lol i thought I saw something like that...

cepb 01-06-2007 06:46 PM

I can't see a flash of the devil in the titles? When does it happen?

Lil-Lindz 01-06-2007 06:48 PM

i like the idea of the divide, and those numbers are unuaual, i wonder what they mean

Matt 01-06-2007 07:16 PM

It wasnt exactly the devil, but a devil-like ink blot.

*Scans titles to find it*

cepb 01-06-2007 07:19 PM

Could you attach an image here?

Matt 01-06-2007 07:24 PM

This was the relatively devilish inkblot I saw:

Bluefield 02-06-2007 06:28 PM

What color does pink & blue make when mixed?

geoking66 02-06-2007 07:09 PM

I noticed this frame and the only conclusion that I can come from is Y meaning the Y chromosome determining the male gender. It doesn't really make any sense otherwise.

Good thinking...

geoking66 03-06-2007 06:49 AM

Right now I really wish that they had the Diary Room site with the frame by frame guide to the titles like last year.

Captain.Remy 03-06-2007 08:04 AM

There will be a big twist about the girls/boys division ! It will be big I think ! :colour:

mozzymozmoz 03-06-2007 10:35 AM

something that we know is true, is that there is definatly another house, we have seen the arial shots of another garden aswell. i think that mayby on friday some boys will either enter or davina will say that they are allready in the other house and give us a quick review of what they have been up too. also the pool inside! they could be in that, and then the pool bit opens up and shows the boy/girls to each other and the boys go into the main house!:bouncy::joker:

Michael 03-06-2007 10:37 AM

if there will be a divide it will be done soon i think.

Maybe it's not supposed to be the devil, those of you who are much cleverer than me, could it be anything else? I'm intrigued by all this speculation, I'd never given the title sequence a second thought before.

Callum 03-06-2007 01:45 PM

Wow, you are on a roll here Matt. Your theorys are amazing! I definitly think there's something suspicious hidden in the titles, maybe a divide or something. Guess we'll just have to wait and see..

I have the launch show in Quicktime, I use it because I can pause it and then use the right arrow key to go through it frame by frame.

geoking66 03-06-2007 05:56 PM

Notice the repetition…

That symbol is connected to water:

Quote:

14:6 · Tripled, seems to be humankind's most common ideogram for water in general and for streaming or flowing water in particular.
In the earliest Chinese ideography represented river or stream.
In modern electrical engineering it signifies three-phased alternating current, the most common type of current in industrialized countries. This sign in more specialized contexts can also mean alternating current of a frequency that is above the audible level.

geoking66 03-06-2007 08:48 PM

I was going through the frames again, and notice that there are many instances of circles and squares against each other. The square can be meant (especially in botany) to denote male, while circle denotes female.

It reminds me of The Adventure Game. Anyone who watched children's TV in the 80s will remember that one.
