Even when nominated she lost her temper and overreacted like she was too cocky and had no self aware of how badly she's behaved "oh I really didn't think it would be me " , yeah ok delusional  .

Isaac hasn't done that so you proved your own point wrong in your first paragraph. Natalie didn't act in the same way that Isaac did; not even similarly. Sure she argued, but she didn't act aggressively.

The black gals are pretty untouchable on TIBB, we been knew this sis.

Also girl Isaac is hilarious. :joker: Legit looks like a TIBB kween

Ammi 21-09-2018 05:29 PM

...I’m not sure why skin colour would have any bearing...but Anamelia hasn’t behaved in any grim or nasty way as Isaac has...but I would definately say she’s been generally criticised and disliked much more...

Aggression is needed in life but must be correctly focused and applied.

Too much aggression leads to violent behaviour. Too little aggression means you become an easy victim of someone else's violence! As with the animal kingdom.

Like most things - a balance must be struck. We need overall kindness in society but not sacrifice all things aggressive. Aggression needs to be kept sheathed like a wise samurai keeps his sword.

We may need it some day to defend precious kindness.

Add in the usual championing of the underdog and we now have race warzz :spin:

I don't know that it's necessarily because of a supposed racial dynamic as much as it just seems to play out that way because it's realizing a self-fulfilling prophecy, which happen to key into current social narratives... and as they say, fortune favors the bold.

Anamelia still has a strong fan base especially on here , it's another Natalie Nunn with fans that won't acknowledge their flaws :bored: . And that's the point LT is making and i usually don't agree with him but in this case i DO .

And she was extremely loud & obnoxious yet still had a strong fan base , Isaac has one outburst and he's called "thug" , "aggressive" , "twat" :bored: .

Alexandra, Ify, Sheivonne, Kayleigh and Stacey's reception on here proves you wrong

Are those previous BB contestants?? :conf: never heard of them:shrug:.

There's just certain people that get praised for being obnoxious

Amy Jade 21-09-2018 09:10 PM

If Issac had been a black woman you wouldn't have created this topic.

Probably one about her being fat or something.

montblanc 21-09-2018 09:11 PM

we need to stop this 'TiBB stans every black woman' narrative because it's not true

maybe initially at first like during launches but definitely not throughout the series

montblanc 21-09-2018 09:11 PM

in the last two years, only Tiff and Debs were REALLY that popular and Debs wasn't even the forum favorite

montblanc 21-09-2018 09:12 PM

like there's multiple threads trying to make this a 'point' when it's just complete bull****

Brother Leon 21-09-2018 09:16 PM

Facts. Far more aggressive women that love a fight have been stanned hard on here.

'TiBB stans women' is WAY more accurate than 'TiBB stans black women'

Examples of black women who aren't liked on this forum. Putting a hole in your lil theory.

...and aggressive men have been stanned also...I mean Isaac is aggressive and nasty and he has a stan base as other aggressive men in the past have been also..so I don’t understand any of the vein of the thread, what it’s trying to say or infer..

Isaac has no fanbase what are you talking about ?? and if he's up for eviction he's gone even the people that like him on here are very few , but I don't mind him though .

But the point is people like Anamelia despite being disliked is also hugely loved aswell . Her fan base is huge on here .

...ahh so we’re talking about a fan base size then..?...okay I understand more ..but I still don’t get the analogy at all...if Isaac has a small fan base then it’s to do with his own character...he hasn’t shown himself to be a very nice person in how personal and vindictive he is...so far as I can see, he’s had no personal confrontations or clashes with Anamelia...and yet he made no bones of the fact that he wanted her out and that it was personal...very odd and quite shabby...and a very good reason for having a smaller fan base I would think...

...and in contrast to Anamelia..who may have been given the most airtime by BB in the first few days...not something she had control over, that was their decision not hers...and nothing she has done...no matter how irritating or whatever...has ever been personal or vindictive in any way...hence the bigger fan base...as housemates are generally judged on their characters once they have started to reveal their personalities...

...on launch night though..?..it tends to be a first impression thing and just because fan appreciation threads are a popular thing to take part in...

Ammi 22-09-2018 06:27 AM

...so I guess that’s what I’m talking about, GoldHeart....

Ammi 22-09-2018 06:28 AM

...to say if Isaac were a ‘black woman’ would imply that a black woman was generic in some way and not judged as an individual on her time in the house...

TBH i don't think Isaac ever had a chance , on entrance he was slated from the beginning due to his appearance he was judged and from his VT .

He DID clash with Ana from the launch night did you not watch when she got snappy with him about the coins? , then the next day they argued again.

You could also say Lewis G never had personal beef with her , but he still enjoyed winding her up and he made her bankrupt :hee: .

..yeah of course Lewis G has had no personal reasons to dislike her so much either but the thread didn’t refer to him though...it was specifically about Isaac and making some kind of analogy to if he had been a ‘black female’...still not really sure what it’s trying to say or imply...so I’ll just leave it as I doubt it’ll become clear...

I don't think that was the point of the OP , it was more about double standards . If Isaac was a woman regardless of his race he probably would have a massive fan base , i'm not saying he'd be the most popular but he'd get alot more praise  .

..there isn't any double standards though unless that thing actually happened, which it didn’t and hasn’t......you can’t profess a double standard scenario on a hypothetical that’s in your own head...as I say, it’s not becoming any more clear so I’ll leave it there...and double standards in itself I feel is often quite tedious because there is no ‘one size fits all’..so always specifics of a personality in BB which helps to mould and form our individual opinions...

Fact: most if not all of the top big brother housemates ever are women

Blame the casters

I mean, I'd try and agree, but the only 'black woman' I can think that is anywhere comparable to Isaac is Natalie Rowe, and she was hated by all but one or two on here

It's only the children, who think they're edgy by supporting the vile people, us adults know the real score.

Ah yes Ammi the child who thinks she's edgy. Also we're on a big brother forum obsessing over whether or not the staircase should be closed off. Think our days of thinking we're edgy are OVER
