Wow. Some people are really clueless as to how it feels to come out, thinking it's all one grand cynical scheme.

There's more than one way to come out

Mostly it's done with subtlety, authenticity and heart (eg - to close friends/family etc)

Sometimes it gets used for another pre-planned purpose (such as trying to win a TV game show)

Not seen this yet, but on launch it looked like he had a great relationship with his Dad....

Which sometimes makes it harder, because he probably feels like he is disappointing his dad or worried that it might change their whole dynamic

And even if he has been told he is loved and supported, he may still have that doubt which can be quite powerful

I'm not sure if I 100% buy it just because of how frank he was about it but it's really not my place to say

Agreed tbh.

Maybe when you're already out to your family and then it's a tool to play a game.
Not when you're not out... It's hardly something to play with. I'm not sure if you've experienced it yourself.

That's exactly what he's doing. The whole thing feels SO contrived and un-natural. He is a BB superfan, he knows exactly how this works.

He is deliberately drip-feeding his coming out story, bit-by-bit, making it a slow-burn.

So obvious.

Luke A was the real deal: he put it out there to his HMs right from the start and made no more of it. No milking, no manipulation: that's why he won and Cameron won't.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Please stop.

...although he laughed at the pool conversation with Isaac and Lewis G...that ‘ladz’ conversation..that did have an ‘awkward’ vibe from him as well for me..as though he wasn’t really feeling it but trying to run with the ‘ladz’ humour and bantz...

..yeah the whole DR thing was quite heartbreaking to watch.....

Ammi   thank you

Absolutely, I feel like he's definitely an outsider trying to find a place where he fits in :(

They better not bum him on telly.

To me it really sounded like he wants to admit his sexuality. But I don't think it should have been shown. He didn't outright say, "I'm gay". But all the words sounded like that was what he was saying.
So to me it looks like the producers have outed him as a gay man. He's not comfortable saying it yet. However, BB were quite happy to show the Diary Room conversation. That can't be undone, yet he's not ready for it.

In my view that Dairy Room conversation should NOT have been shown.
