18 was a scream with a great winner tf

ppl just shet on 18 because it had like 27 ex on the beach contestants, but when you look past that it's my fav on C5 :love:

Looking back 18 was a Great Series tbh. The Divide and Fight Night 3 were compulsive Viewing and Isabelle was the best Winner since Nadia

18 will always seem better than it was in retrospect because it had a lot of big, memorable moments, but people forget that every other episode was ridiculously boring

I enjoy it tbh

18 is one of the most inconsistent series ever. When it was good it was amazing, when it was bad it was dire, and it ended poorly with a final that reeked of mediocrity

debs and isseh are ANYTHING but mediocrity !! plus that final week is one of my fav final weeks eva :love: the wedding challenge one of the best episodes n the prom night was so cute

They're really overrated sorry, one of the most likeable bunch of finalists sure but a lot of the time they were just *there*

isseh overrated sweetie.... she's my all time fav housemate because she didn't have to try and be funny or try and hog the camera, she just had such a naturally great personality. while i find the other bb legends a scream and hilarious, most of the time so forced, but still funny, where as isseh would jsut have do say something under her breath or a facial expression and it was funny without parading around and screaming, plus she had a good heart !! icon !!

(but yes chanelle should hav been there i agree)

I liked Chanelle when I was watching it but looking back she was such an attention seeker and she hogged 90% of the camera time. Literally every storyline had to be about her. She has a good heart and has one of the funniest arguments ever (‘baggy fanny fukk off mate’) but god she’s an attention seeker

I see Isabelle the same way I see the series, really inconsistent. When she was great she was amazing, but then she'd disappear for like 10 days before showing up again, it was really frustrating. I get why people like her because I think she's an amazing person but as a housemate she was too wishy washy

Isabelle was involved in pretty much every giant storyline. Her entering also lifted the series up. She was a big character for the majority of her stay. Although she did quieten down between periods, but she was in no way a 'bore' like these women are. She had her own storylines rather than being a supporting character. I think just because Chanelle was in the house and Suemone Isabelle got less shown for those two weeks.

even when she wasn't in a fight or shouting tho she was still unintentionally hilarious, like saying 'chanetelle' instead of chanelle, dancing in bed, the 'hssssk' as she walked away behind a door, her facial expresisons, 'thick orange skin' and that's why she's my fav because she doesn't have to be screaming at every fookin thing and one in the house to be funny and a legend, she was just genuinely ha

Yeah I find it sad on the first few days I had amazing hopes for it but most of the cast are a bit bland there are some gems though. Last time this happened was bb16 it started off well with a strong cast but then they got bland and 4in 4 out happened. Maybe that needs to happen again...

Isabelle wasn't a bore, none of the finalists were - they were just middle-of-the-road and mediocre

BB18 is the classic example of a series that was spoiled by VTE, it started off so well and then they reverted back and it became inconsistent. Any time a few housemates stepped up to save the series, they got evicted - Sue and Simone's evictions were ****ing infuriating. Both should've been in the final, along with Chanelle, all of them played a bigger role than the other finalists IMO

I don't mean fighting or shouting though, I just like housemates to be contributing to most episodes, have ongoing storylines that can be discussed and be a major part of the series upon reflection. All of what you've listed sounds mildly amusing but doesn't fit that criteria. I totally get why people like her - I'd like to marry her quite frankly - but she was far too inconsistent as a housemate for me

I like watching interaction...but I also want to see drama. I don't want to see a house of people just 'getting on'.
The likes of Ana and Lewis G..however unlikeable, cause friction and debate.
But big characters have gone before and then others florish and then they start to turn on each other...so lets wait and see.

Lewis F and Cameron are the only likeable housemates in my opinion, if they go then I'll give up on it.

I want to see people getting on im bored of screaming housemates but there's nice and forming genuine bonds and providing entertainment then there's nice, boring, 90% fence sitters with one topic of conversation Lewis G and sex.

Really? I'm enjoying it. Only problems is, it's on too late.

The series is losing me a little bit, but I tend to give it a few episodes to pick back up... Many of the housemates and conversation are turning out to be so puddle deep...

And yes, the sex commentary is boring as well. I'm not here for who sleeps with who because most of these folk are so ridiculously unsexy, uncharismatic and lame personality-wise to me that I could care less what sex dungeon they frequent on the outside... I would still be far more titillated by watching paint dry... and it just drags on...

It's not helping that all of the big characters seem to be leaving/targetted within the first few weeks.

My prediction is that Tomasz leaves in week 3.

Why do people rate 18 so high? Apart from the Big Fight and Isabelle, it was awful to me.

Terrible tasks, terrible production and would say 75% of the episodes were boring, after the big fight followed the week where was probably the most dull of any series with the hippy task. The only thing that kept the week going was the vote leak where Isabelle ended up being saved and Sav evicted.

We had the likes of Sam and Ellie, to me the worst showmance ever, miserable Joe, Andrew who was pointless etc...

The strength was that pretty much the best 4 people got to the final i guess.

The only problem with the series is the women are doing nothing and the males are being more dominating in the edit. Sian, Brooke and Kenaley are pretty much just there. But i know there is more to them.

But its a big problem when almost half the housemates are doing nothing :/ I did think that perhaps they weren't getting enough airtime but its approaching 2 weeks now and what we have seen of them has been really dull.

They all seem very vanilla, a bit wet and get along.

I think this is the first time since BB4 we actually need new entrants...Send in Lisa Jeynes.

The series concept is good, the tasks are good. The casting is weak. There is no age diversity and the female casting is very poor. Watching Kay and Sian is like studying belly button fluff. Sure they are both pretty but that doesn't make a fantastic, lively TV show. None of the other girls are much better. Tomasz probably has it in the bag because he's LGBT rather than a great housemate. Which makes the whole watching experience slightly pointless since you know at the outset who will win. And he really needs to learn to wash his hair occasionally.

thats why tasks are so important, because it shows members of the cast that are not necessarily involved in arguments
