I'm going to say again, because some people think I (and others) are defending the boneheads who did this - I'm not, they are scum. But there wasn't the same outrage when Muslims burned poppies. They were also charged with a public order offence, and fined £50. Poppies represent people who've died, is someone going to tell me that's not the same thing either? It was a deplorable act, but people's reaction is over the reaction is over the top. Should we now monitor every private party now, in case someone's doing something we don't approve of? |
