Did you know such a thing exists called 'recording' where, get this, you can record a programme and watch it whenever you like! There's also a new invention called catch up, where each channel uploads their programs to watch whenever you like!

So now you're assessing that Anne's autism has nothing to do with anything that she does in the jungle?

Where did you get your PhD?

Also, Rob responded to your comment about her not being a quiz master.

This is the crux of it.

"I can't have empathy for someone earning a bigger pay packet than me, it's just not in my nature. If she gives away all of that money I might just like her better!"

Beso 22-11-2018 12:39 PM

She is getting special treatment though, the pillow for instance..I'm sure she ain't the only one struggling to sleep....

And I repeat, her aspergers isn't effecting her time in the jungle...her obesity is.

That's not special treatment. That's Nick Knowles luxury item, which he gave to Anne.

Is James' moisturiser special treatment? or Fleur's hair cream?

Because she was exhausted by the journey to the task...watch again, she had given up in her head before even starting....simply because of her unfitness and weight issues...

Nick said that he was always going to give the pillow to the person who needed it most. I'm sure if, say, Fleur hadn't slept a wink since entering she would've had it.

Because he felt sorry for her.....giving her the pillown was him basically saying oi fatso, here, this will cheer you up you wheezing pig.

Doesn't matter what his reason was. It was his personal item he's willingly given to someone.

The producers giving her an indoor bedroom elsewhere would be "special treatment", this is simply the campmates using items they already have.

I don't understand why people think Ann is getting special treatment, it's just that people in the jungle like Ann and they are understanding of her condition .

I doubt she would have taken it if he had, not that he would have...she would have had the common decency to say no....no Nick, that is your luxury item and I don't need you patronising thank you.

Exactly, they all seem to adore her and want to make sure she's alright, no one is getting treated badly because of it

Anne had just been crying and telling Nick how hard she was finding it and how she hadn't slept, I would imagine his gesture made her feel grateful and listened to rather than patronised

If she had a condition that made her fat I would have sympathy...but she did all that herself and is now being molicoddled and excused for it by the other lot....sorry but her letting them do it is really grating on me.

You do realise alot of people would of struggled with the under water trial right ?!!, luckily forJohn he's an excellent swimmer . I actually think even Malique would of struggled as he seems easily panicked . And not everyone is a good swimmer .

I remember Rebecca Adlington still had to be exempt from certain trials due to her asthma despite her being athletic.

She can't really do much at all, can she!

Crimson Dynamo 22-11-2018 01:07 PM

yes a lot of this is to do with being morbidly obese and the others are using her autism as a way of circumnavigating this fact to excuse her

its being polite, but it wont last

Do you bang on this much when someone is too skinny and weak?

You seem awfully offended by someone else's weight.

Sitting there saying she can't do anything is implying those with autism are totally incapable of making a contribution ... setting back people perceptions by decades.

EXACTLY !! Shes dragged autism back years

I don't think Anne not doing exercise with the others has changed the nation's view on autism. If anything, I'm sure her struggles has only opened up people's eyes

Thing is she can't win with some of you ... if she struggles ( as she is ) she's a lazy **** but if she does well at something it's "see , there's nothing wrong with her !"

I feel like people are just saying negative things about Anne just because it’s controversial and they want to get attention :idc:

Matthew. 22-11-2018 03:16 PM

like surely people don’t actually still think like that

What has that got to do with Anne getting special treatment,? the special treatment I've just proven she is getting by being excused tasks because of her self inflicted condition!

it could well be that Anne can not swim and that was why she couldn’t do last night’s trial

Do you honestly believe that will be the only one she is excused from?

I can promise you that not one will be because if her aspergers, that's for sure.

No I do not, because she was excluded from the first one on medical grounds. the first one involved crawling about in little tunnels

Anne isn't the only person to be exempt from trials for one reason or another.

And I'm sure the camp mates would rather someone who didn't have an illness, a disability or a condition that would prevent them from completing a trial. Whether that is Anne or anybody else.

But, what I said has everything to do with what you posted, you seem awfully offended by someone else's weight. Do you get offended by underweight people too?

I very much doubt it as they will firstly put it down to her being morbidly obese and old:shrug:

The only real struggle I have seen her have is getting out a hammock, apart from that she has cried twice but then lots of people cry

Harry has lived for 28 years with no taste or sense of smell - that is a huge disability as he cannot really enjoy any food or alcohol

for example
