The allegations made by Jesse describe a terrible event, and I hope those behind it get what's coming to them. But to say that's representative of the West as a whole is as silly as someone who says "The mozlum's r taken over" when they walk past a halal shop.

I've not seen that in day to day life, nor has anyone in my family or friends.

I have no idea what your experiences have been, but to say that there’s no need for a pro-LGBT movement is highly ignorant. And anyway, even if we did achieve equality, that doesn’t mean the community needn’t exist.

If you don’t want to identify with the community, fine, but don’t drag them down.
