There are still viable and deserving winners left in the competition. Plus, we don't know Naomi's reasons yet. It could be anything from 'I don't like Manila' to 'yeah, Manila was a threat' (good on her, if so).
The format of this season is set up for a VH1 narrative. You even said in the previous thread that production and Ru know what lipsticks are pulled before the lip-sync happens, so any 'natural' storyline can be altered, by that logic.
I can only speak for myself, but I actually really liked the lip-sync set-up at the season 9 finale. I wasn't even a Sasha fan but it freshened the format up, Trinity was able to pick the person she wanted to lip-sync against, and all of the lip-syncs were enjoyable. Only last season, when it became more about reveals than lip-syncs, it become tiresome imo.

I dunno tbh, I think from what we've seen, Manila would have beaten her in a lipsync since she was consistently good in hers this season while Latrice had a good turn for the Monique lipsync but was underwhelming last week.
I just think we've lost someone who pretty much brought it every week and instead we're left with Latrice who is slowly destroying her legacy by being on life support throughout most of the competition. I love Latrice but she should have gone, she's an excellent drag queen and a great personality but she's not a good Drag Racer.
Manila going has made it even more predictable than before tbh so I don't really see that argument at all, if she survived this week then her and Trinity would have been neck and neck in terms of track record meaning that, going forward, the winner wouldn't have been so predictable but now Trinity's got it locked up. If Trinity goes then it'll be Monique or Monet since they have a similar track record. Either way it's still predictable, Manila going hasn't served up unpredictability, it just means we lost one of the stars of the season.
