...which movie has made you cry the most in your long haggard life..?...if your memory stretches back that far obviously...

Grave of the Fireflies, it's one of my favourite films of all time but I can only watch it sparingly given just how emotionally destructive is.

of course we know you as a book author, who are your influences at becoming a author?

I don't think I have any, I've always liked thinking up of stories to entertain my mind and keep it busy, I like figuring out how things fit together. I always wanted to write those stories down but I never really did before a few of years ago.

The next book is out either next month or the month after, I probably won't make a thread like I did for the other two due to something happening after releasing my second book that made me doubt sharing anything relating directly to my life on this forum. I'm more excited about my fourth book though which will hopefully be out at the end of the year which, considering the requests I get to write it on here, some longstanding members will be happy to see it finally realised.

I'm happy I'm no longer a mod, It's grim work and I largely felt unappreciated and unsupported by the admin. I regret how I lashed out regarding the bans and would do things differently but I don't regret what I said in that thread, It's how I felt and I've put years into this website and never felt welcome for it.

Gurl, this is difficult. In my head, I saw the appearances of Tristan/Lucian were inspired by certain actors but I couldn't imagine them playing the character since a lot of them wouldn't have the talent to play such a complex character well. I always imagined a gaunt teenage version of Nicholas Hoult as Tristan and for Lucian.... I don't know, I generally had people like Alexander Skarsgard and Alex Pettyfer in mind for his appearance. If anyone ever played Lucian it would have to be someone who is intensely attractive since Lucian's meant to use his looks to his advantage.

I've not been to many places, just around the UK and Florida pretty much. Florida was great as a kid but I don't think I'd like it now. I have a lot of happy memories of holidays in Cornwall and Devon so I'm going to say there. I'd like to travel more eventually.

When I was younger, I used to massively prefer women to men when it came to relationships but these days I'd say things are more even although I think there's still a preference towards women. For better and worse, I find it hard to see relationships with men as anything more than a friends with benefits situation. I've only ever been in one meaningful relationship with a man and that situation was it's own long but ultimately good story but even then it felt more like we were friends (which is probably because we were friends before things developed into something more) which had it's great points. I think I loved him but it wasn't quite the same as my relationships with women. I kinda go back and forth on this issue and contradict myself a lot, it's difficult to compare the two and make sense really. Sex with both genders is great but I do think I develop more of a connection with women and even just flings tend to last longer than similar situations with men. I think I've only ever had a lasting attraction to one man while the rest tend to fizzle out when I get bored.

I dunno, I'm rambling.

I liked the comic and I liked the film, I thought it was a good adaptation and the changes were neccesary. I'm intrigued by the TV show.
