Very smart from Italy bringing on some fresh legs and new attacking instinct, exactly what they needed
|
But why the hell have Austria taken Arnie off?? Their best player and biggest threat
|
Italy is a scumbag team can't wait for them to get smacked around next game

They need to put Chiesa from the beginning.
Not always in the last ten minutes :fist: |
Perisic out for Croatia in their match against Spain.

Can't believe we're off to the quarter finals.
I'm just so happy! I know it will be hard now, but I will always be proud of what we have achieved  |

Spain would win either way, Croatia are weak even with Perisic |
come on Czechia today
|
i expect the netherlands to simply score more goals than the Czech's, that's what this team is about.
Belgium vs Portugal is so difficult to predict, so i go with the fact that I just don't like Ronaldo, and want belgium to win  |
Alf predicts the team Southgate will pick.
Pickford, will be the goalkeeper Walker, will play at right back The left back will be between Shaw and Trippier, I think he'll go with Trippier. Stones and Maguire will be the centre backs. Rice, will be holding midfield The next selection is a 50/50, will he gamble on Henderson or keep in the Yorkshire Pirlo? I think he'll take the gamble and go with Henderson. Mount, will make up the centre of midfield. The two attacking wide players will be Sterling and Foden. Skipper, Kane, will be up top. So the team Pickford Walker Stones Maguire Trippier Rice Henderson Mount Foden Sterling Kane |
While I'm picking teams, the other day I chose my all-time European Championships team 1984 - present.
This was the team I came up with. Goalkeeper Schmeichel Casilas of Spain came close, but I chose Schmeichel. Schmeichel played a major role in helping Denmark pull of one of the great shock wins in 1992. Right back Thuram Thuram was a top defender from France's victory in 2000. Left back Maldini The only player in my team that didn't win the championship, he did reach a final in 2000 and had many great performances in many championships. Centre back Blanc Another of France's 2000 winning defence, Blanc also played well in the two previous tournaments in 92 and 96. Centre back Pepe Pepe was at the heart of Portugal defence for a few championships, including winning in 2016 Midfield Sammer Sammer was the best player at Euro 96 where he inspired Germany to victory. Midfield Xavi Two time championship winner and key man in both victories. Attack Cristiano Ronaldo No words needed Attack Platini More or less single handedly led France to victory in 1984 Attack Iniesta This was the toughest choice, I also considered Zidane and Henry for this position but Iniesta fits my team better not to mention he's a two time championship winner. Up front Van Basten Star of the 1988 championships, there was no other choice. Full team Schmeichel Thuram Blanc Pepe Maldini Sammer Xavi Iniesta Platini Ronaldo Van Basten |

Netherlands not in a good form so far |
Potential red card

Looking forward to tonight's match.
Portugal are my tips to win the tournament, but they've got tough opposition tonight with the in-form Belgians. This is where football God's like Ronaldo step up, he may be 36 but he's still playing like he's in his twenties. |
Netherlands down to 10
