Seriously, does that make him a good person? Some of the biggest crims in the world did charity work. Mr Saville comes immediately to mind

You get paid for sitting on your arse all day doing virtually nothing so I’d pipe down .

It makes him a good person when hes doing it..

And also points more towards him being a good person than a bad person.

They can't even pretend to have sympathy for the crisis people are in. They'd rather come out with insulting statements like this instead by slating people's cooking skills ,and treating us like we're stupid.

Bear in mind some people don't have a roof over their heads let alone a cooker to make food. They don't know where the next meal will come from .

This guy is stuck in the 60's going by his statement.

30p hasn't been a realistic amount for a meal in at least 30 years. I guess if you ate rice and lentils every day it would be cheap but, could you eat it every day?

Vanessa 13-05-2022 04:57 AM

30 p as a budget isn't realistic. You can probably make some spaghetti and it will be cheap and delicious.
Add some meat into it and it's even better.

thesheriff443 13-05-2022 06:35 AM

If you are at the food bank the ingredients are free only the cost of gas and electricity to cook the meal

I do feel for genuine cases but you will have some buying fags alcohol drugs scratch cards before thinking about buying food.

But the we live in a sick world, 7 million for a football shirt.

He's a tory... why is anyone surprised?

Historically have they ever been any different, anymore in tune to the needs and wants of the underclass?

No, they want them to die. This is eugenics, if you can't live within your means and you have no support please die as we won't support you.
That's how it was, is and ever shall be for this party. If you voted for them and expected any different you're a fool.

Anderson invited MPs to visit a food bank in his constituency to witness a scheme whereby those in receipt of food parcels have to "register for a budgeting and cooking course". He said there was not a massive use for food banks in the UK, stating: "We've got generation after generation who cannot cook properly, they can't cook a meal from scratch, they cannot budget.

He did not say the poor cant cook.

This man in question is an ex labour mp..one who did not go to public school.

He defected to the conservatives, and was investigated by the conservatives for anti semitism, a trait he brought with him when he defected.

bots 13-05-2022 07:58 AM

he insulted thousands of people who can cook and who are struggling to make ends meet. Not the most sensible strategy for any MP

Yeah that's fair, nothing wrong with equipping people to better spend and cook.

Indirectly perhaps... your average Joe on the street however wouldn't necessarily see anyone starve, drown or suffer, it takes careful dripping of lies and spin from the establishment and media to make the public complicit enough to push through rules that prey on exaggerated fears to benefit the rich and powerful.

We don't make the rules we have to suffer them... there's a big difference.
