Yes, but this is getting worse

Is Prince Charles

Unfortunately, the sterling work the Royals do isn’t reported; unlike the few negatives that arise now and then that show they are as human as anybody else.
In truth, they do a hell of a lot more good than they do harm.

In the case of Prince Charles, this is just one of his charitable initiatives:

The Princes Trust.

The Prince's Trust help 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.
Since The Prince of Wales set up The Prince’s Trust in 1976, more than 870,000 disadvantaged young people across the UK have been supported by the Trust and helped to move into work, education or training. www.princes-trust.org.uk

The Prince's Trust International

The Prince's Trust International works to combat the global issue of youth unemployment and focuses on supporting young people overseas. www.princestrustinternational.org

Sure, it looks that way,
But I think we need a back up,
in case, he could get caught in a big scandal.

They handled controversy well and with dignity....they knew they were going to have to confront the situation and got on with the job...

Unlike Meghan and Harrys trip to S.Africa...a mission to highlight the treatment, rape and corruption of young women only for them to make it all about them... "nobody asked me if I was OK..." :bawling:

:clap1: ... and that's the massive difference between Kate/Wills and Meghan/Harry and why the former are greatly admired and the latter are very much not.

I was smiling at your over reaction….it’s hardly ‘shocking’ unless you are naive enough to think this stuff has never happened before :hee:

How dramatic.

As I've said before, no -one cares what Meghan does with her feet, it’s the s*** that comes out of her mouth that is the problem.

Hardly a personal attack by insinuating you are naive to think this stuff does not go on….

AnnieK 03-07-2022 05:31 PM

The cash thing stinks a bit to me. It was paid into the PWCF but not mentioned in the accounts if I understand that correctly? Seems fishy to me. Sure it happens a lot but any donations should be completely auditable surely? His charity fund also finances his Scottish estate....so where did that money go?

You post this like it's some sort of excuse, it's not. It doesn't seem you find it all that foolish if you're aware of this going on and yet still support Charles.

Cherie 03-07-2022 05:40 PM

I don’t understand why he would take it in that way, he can’t be short of cash plus it was in euros

It does all seem odd. Apparently any donations are allowed but should be in the form of a cheque. It just seems a bit dodgy.

Yes it did look dodgy….and a crass way of doing business.

jet 03-07-2022 05:55 PM

I admit I would have accepted it too - a massive amount of money to benefit the people that needed it from his charities. I truly believe Charles would not have had a thought of pocketing any of it. There has not been any suggestion that he might have.

bots 03-07-2022 05:57 PM

people seem to be under the misconception that charities and public figures are averse to sticking their head in the trough
