Tbh I am shocked at how quick some of the voters have been to forgive the Republicans.

When it comes to mainstream Republicans, there's nothing to forgive. A bunch of Trumptards got high on their own farts and ran around a government building. That didn't represent the party as a whole.

Stacey Abrams

Many Democrats do not like her

Isn't she the crackpot who refused to concede last time she lost?

A monumentally embarrassing result for the republicans

Except she conceded last time and this time, without any crackpottery. Georgia has been kicking black people off election rolls, so her platform was to restore voting rights. Whichever way you spin it, that is a fairly mainstream ambition.

also Kemp, the guy that won, was the main man that had the balls to stand up to trump and certify the vote, he will have earned respect for that

As far as I know she never conceded for the 2018 vote? As of January she still hadn't.

bots 09-11-2022 11:34 AM

the danger will come if the republicans win the house with a small majority, because then that qanon women will have too much influence

Her issue was not the fact that she lost, but the fact that 1m black people had been kicked off the voting register by the republican sec of state, and the fact that even the people turning up were denied their votes.

From what little I've heard, most projections point to a house majority for the Reps, and close to 50/50 for the Senate?

yes, but the majority could be very small, ie less than 10 and that gives the extremists a loud voice. It was the same last term with the progressive left having too much influence

This is just factually incorrect. The progressive left has been shafted. The whole power of the US government was put in the hands of 2 conservative senators - Manchin and Sinema.

Weird thing to make up there, bots.

Donald Trump has warned Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis against running for president in 2024, saying doing so would harm the Republican Party.

He also threatened to release unflattering information about the 44-year-old, without providing details.

Mr DeSantis won a landslide victory in Tuesday's midterms, underlining his popularity and further fuelling speculation he will launch a bid.

Mr Trump is also tipped to announce a presidential run in the coming days.

He told US network Fox News that the Florida governor should stay out of the race.

"I don't know if he is running. I think if he runs, he could hurt himself very badly. I really believe he could hurt himself badly," Mr Trump said. "I don't think it would be good for the party."

Mr DeSantis is considered by many to be the most likely candidate to supplant Mr Trump as the Republican candidate to run for president in 2024.

I don't know much about Desantis, but he seems more human than Trump and alot stronger. And I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the public over .

Liam- 10-11-2022 03:11 PM

Desantis is everything Trump thought he could be, trump had the bark, Ron has the bite and is just as cruel and bigoted as Trump portrayed himself as, it’s just that Ron actually enjoys politics and will try and get these horrible things done unlike the great pretender

DeSantis takes every chance to hammer home the idea of Florida as the
“nation’s citadel of freedom,” as he put it in a campaign stump speech in
Melbourne last week. That allows him to champion his own state against a
range of opponents defined by geography and referenced by name: crime-
ridden blue cities such as San Francisco, the piously pro-immigration liberals
of Martha’s Vineyard, the “elites” in Washington, D.C.

In the governor’s narrative of the coronavirus, the people of Florida did not
ower at home or tentatively venture outside in masks, nor did they labor
under vaccine mandates as new variants spread across the country. No, they
ere free. Free to support their family. Free to attend school. Free to run a
usiness. Free from the constraints of fogged glasses and not being able to
nlock their iPhone.

Eh?

Trumps picks were 200+ wins with only 16 losses. 95%win rate from his picks.

You continue to listen to the MSM. You never learn. They can give you their bullsh!t again and again and you'll continue to go back to them.

The Dems won the senate race in Arizona, It's now 49 each with 2 results remaining. The dems need 1 of those two to retain control of the senate

MTVN 12-11-2022 06:37 AM

The Republicans were further ahead in Nevada but there's now only 0.1% in it apparently, I expect the Democrats will end up winning it which will make Georgia's run off redundant

The length of time it's taking to count the votes is a joke though and doesn't help build trust in the electoral process
