Even when he got executed...he said it was wrong for the public to be happy/ celebrating, like wtf ...this was a deranged psychopath ! . It's bad enough whilst locked up he escaped I think a few times.

But yeah I'd like to know aswell how this police officer managed to get away with it for so long, only thing I can think of is people are scared to report assault...and him being a cop made it so he could abuse his power.

I know non of us know how we'd react in scary situations with predators, but if he approached me ....then I guess I'd be killed .As I wouldn't want to give in easily .... just because I see him hiding behind his uniform & weapons.

But who knows .... maybe he caught them off guard , he doesn't need to be the smartest to pretend he's their friend or someone they can trust , a rapist doesn't always show obvious signs .

And the fact he's abused so many women... tells me the sicko must have had some type of plan, that was working for him.

I'm sure plenty of his victims wanted to fight back ,but you're powerless. It's really horrible & traumatic to think about .

That does sound ****ed up from the Doctor tbh, Bundy was a sick individual that was a menace to society.

And I agree with you that the victims in this case must've felt powerless to take on a Cop, and tbh it is incredibly hard for a Police Officer to face any repercussions for their actions imo.

GEEZ what is the actual number of offences this sicko rapist committed!!??, just read the other headlines now saying between " 70 -80 sex attacks" !!!!???:umm2:.

Now i truly believe his colleagues and people around him knew what was going on , This is so disgusting and concerning.

"The Met Police is investigating 1,000 sexual and domestic abuse claims involving about 800 of its officers, the commissioner has said."

if there are 800 suspected sex offenders currently serving in the met, it's not difficult to see how it happened

That's shocking

when you think of the damage a handful of police sexual predators could do working together, scale that up to 800 and it is insane

Evil Carrick
must serve a minimum of 30 Years.

Judge has stated

Niamh. 07-02-2023 12:13 PM

Doesn't seem like a lot for 24 rapes, each one should have had an individual sentence imo

bots 07-02-2023 12:16 PM

he was sentenced for every charge, but they run concurrently

What's the point in that?

its the way the law works in the uk. In the hearing, she went into great detail on how she arrived at her terms. The point about concurrency is that with all those rapes, he can try and appeal, but will be unsuccessful because there are so many

30 years still isn't enough but it had better be an actual minimum, not out in 15 for keeping his head down.

He's 48 so if it's a real 30-year minimum he'll be nearly 80 by the time he's eligible for release - at the very least that's hopefully too old to be much of a risk to the public any more. He may well die in prison.

It would be better if they took him out this afternoon and shot him in the back of the head and then incinerated him

True enough I guess

bots 07-02-2023 02:37 PM

apparently he has already tried to commit suicide, and he wont be able to go in prison general population without being killed, so, i think his chances of lasting 30 years are pretty much zero

He's a sicko and a coward, yeah it's likely he might not last in prison...but I still hate the fact there's a chance he could still be alive and released in 30 years ( and that's if he actually serves the full 30 years and doesn't get let out early) , some people think he'll be too old to
re offend .

But I honestly wouldn't put it past a serial rapist. The only way he wouldn't reoffend....is if he becomes a crippled or gets old age disease.

it's a minimum sentence of 30 years, so he cant be let out before then

True...but this justice system is such a sh1t show , that we hear of prisoners being let out early "for good behaviour" ...which basically translates to ' they didn't shank anyone in prison ' . But we'll see .

Exactly.. I can’t get my head around that ..

Why not get them to serve the sentence and ADD time on for bad behaviour

I think it's fair to say he's never coming out. I wonder how the first night of his sentence went? I hope it was awful...

The Police Commissioner in London
Sir Mark Rowley
can not Fire Officers.

He has asked the Home Secretary
for that power, he needs.

Meanwhile, Special Police are brought into
to go through the bad officers.

bots 06-04-2023 06:14 PM

it's because they have an appeals procedure. A committee can override the commissioner and re-instate a policeman, which is crazy
