I think so too, we dont really know why they were on the run in the first place, what was the reason, some women sadly have children so their partners can abuse them I hope this is not the case here

Hang on Annie

Police have stated
they are not ruling out,
the Couple could have handed the 2-month-old baby
to someone else.

No one knows the truth at this time,
they are both "No comment"

They are wasting Police Time

Apparently they are both heroin addicts and had their first child removed from their care due to neglect so decided to go off grid when she fell pregnant again to prevent that happening again. Seen someone suggest they could have been so high they’ve forgotten what happened to their baby or where they left him/her.

Oh I see, that is very sad, I hope in that case they have given the baby to someone they trust

Lovely to see you Cal

Again - it's a genuine possibility that they sold the baby in an illegal adoption. That could either be to someone planning abuse (unthinkable) or to people who have been unable to adopt legitimately and were willing to do it by other means. It happens a lot more than is ever recorded. People sell babies without anyone ever knowing they were pregnant.

The latter is really the best case scenario here so we can hope for that. I think it's possible that no trace will ever be found and unless one of them talks, we'll never actually know.

I have never understood this fixation/law of being able to only hold serious / dangerous suspects for just 12 / 24 hours and then anxiously fighting to get 24 hour extensions ..

Just lock the suspects up until the police have completed their enquiries

Just seems common sense

There is no shortage of money though ...think the baby died due to neglect sadly

A baby blanket has been found

Police who are searching for the missing newborn of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon have found what is thought to be a baby blanket in the woods. Pictures from the scene in Brighton, East Sussex, show clothes strewn across the ground as police inspected what looked like burnt items. Marten and Gordon are currently being held in custody after being arrested on Monday, February 27. Their baby was just days old when they vanished on January 5.

Yes such a short awful life , think we all hoped for a better outcome but knew in our hearts this poor litttle baby had no chance with such uncaring parents. They could have turned themselves in and got immediate care for their child ~ but chose not too. Yes Kaz throw away the key.

Let's just say that if the allegations against him are true, he is a danger to women.

Mystic Mock 01-03-2023 09:26 PM

Unfortunately that baby will not get the justice it deserves,
Why?
You only have to look at all the previous cases to realise there is no justice.

A couple were just jailed for a similar offence and they got 7 years, probably out in 3

Cherie 02-03-2023 07:53 AM

I don't know why they would go to such lengths to keep the baby just to let it die, such an avoidable outcome
