Still just learning what they are like.
Not fussy on Gary, think he is a major twat.
David is too loud but seems ok. Sharon, Louis, Fern and Coulson are brilliant.
Interested to see what the rest have to offer.

Ray. 06-03-2024 09:02 PM

Don't really care for Fern. Maybe it's just force of habit and it's hard to switch off, but imo she seems to default to interview mode in lieu of actually conversing with someone in a normal way. Feels very clinical and two-dimensional.

Northern Monkey 06-03-2024 09:25 PM

Only know Louis, Sharon, Levi and Fern tbh. All seem the same as I remember, but older.

Northern Monkey 06-03-2024 09:25 PM

And why is Sue called Aking-Sue?

I thought I’d hate David after night one, but he seems like a nice guy. Loud, but nice enough.

Can’t stand Ekin-Su and that baby voice just makes me hate her more.

Cherie 06-03-2024 10:37 PM

Ekin seems to have reinvented herself, I loved her on LI and I think she was being herself, not sure if she will be able to keep up this version of herself, maybe she is over awed by some of them though, I agree Chalk Fern always looks like she is interviewing rather than conversing, I like her though

Yeah I’d agree on those points though I’m kinda going off her ever so slightly now

Maybe she just needs to get her confidence back

…I think that David for me is definitely someone who has been judged on a ‘stereotype’ and I do see that he can feed into that himself …I do hope that he can get through that so that viewers can see beneath the no trousers…(…so to speak…)…and Trump tan…I mean, I like him a lot but I would probably throw him off the sofa with his tan staining…

…and I agree with Ekin-Su’s baby voice, I’d forgotten that it was something that she does and it’s a bit….creepy tbh…I still like her though but no to the baby voice…

i'm going off Fern, I didn't like her interaction with Gary, and the vocal support of him in the diary room

We shouldn't forget that they all knew who was going in the house from the media. They had time to research people. So she will know that Gary is a wife beater

…I think in the house as housemates, they just often look at it from the perspective of how they connect with people and she and Gary have chatted and found those levels of chat…?…well, obviously it’s not how it will be for every housemate, but that’s what it’s feeling it is for Fern….i haven’t changed my opinion of her as a person, she has some nice qualities and seems like a nice lady etc…I’ve just never seen any aspect to her other than who she is in This Morning…and she’s basically being ‘that character’ in BB……she’s interacting as if they’re guests on a show ….anyway, she would have to be much more for me to be a winner…

Ammi 07-03-2024 07:53 AM

…I mean the thing about Gary Goldsmith…?…even looking at any other perspective, he has nothing to offer as a housemate because he can’t be wild and controversial etc when apparently he’s trying to change that opinion that he’s cultivated…?….so he’s just going to aim to show the public how he’s a reformed character etc…(…when they had no idea who he was before…)…but that’s not what CBB viewers hope to see……so it’s all just….well, pointless…he’s achieved an aim of creating some kind of celebrity in that he’s become more known…and he has no celebrity career to try to rebuild…so what would be any sense or anything to achieve in him staying…?…and honestly, he’s not going to reveal anything about the Royal family because he isn’t in the Royal close circle…if he had been, he wouldn’t be there in the first place…

Ammi 07-03-2024 07:53 AM

…I was resolved that I wasn’t going to have a Gary rant today…look what you made me do, bots…

Ammi 07-03-2024 07:57 AM

…but yeah, I am more with Sharon’s thought process…in that, fine if he wants to try address the violence in his past…but the BB house isn’t the place for that, it smacks of self indulgence and looking for ‘celebrity status’ and money earning etc…whatever can be or could be addressed etc is with his family and privately and possibly including domestic violence charities ….

Totally agree .. she’s playing a game but using flawed tactics .. I reckon she’s after a job back on telly and thinks winning this will provide untold options

My biggest turnaround is probably Marsha

I didn’t like her entrance .. then she was tooo loud on the opening night program but she’s calmed down now and seems to be a lovely lady , interesting and entertaining and genuine..

She comes alive late on when there’s only a 2 or 3 others around but blends into the background when everyone is there ..

Surely that’s the definition of being shy / overwhelmed. ?

David needs to tone it down bit.
I do like him, he has potential.

The only one who's started to get on my nerves at the moment is Colson.

Either he has no personality, and is just a grinning/agreeing guy at heart - or he is playing the long game.

I actually find him mega boring as he is just too nice without any sense of an opinion coming out of him.

Dull, dull, dull. He's 25 but looks 48. :p

I am struggling to like any so far this series. Has to be one of the weakest series so far. Horse task was rubbish also. Still early days I guess.

Judging a book by his cover, he doesn't look my cup of tea, but it's the person inside that counts. He said he is a nice person inside.

Who am I to judge him based on his make up and fake tan?

Time will tell what he's really like. But I think we should give him a chance.

But he is very LOUD and very dramatic....not everyone likes that.

I don’t know what he’s thinking at all .. walking around with no pants on just looks odd plus it exaggerates his huge belly ..

he does wear pants Zizu besides if it was girl flashing the legs would you be so averse to him.?

Ray. 08-03-2024 01:33 PM

I can vouch for Zizu here. He was equally as prudish and charmingly Victorian when it was Olivia flashing her legs in the civilian series. :joker:

Ammi 08-03-2024 02:18 PM

…we’ve had David’s Dead, now we have David’s Legs…I don’t know who the guy was on the after show yesterday evening but I thought that it was funny when the clip was shown of Louis’ reaction in the corridor when David’s legs came around the corner and they were right there facing him, as it were…and he screeched oh Jesus……type thing….and the panel guy said that reminded him of his own mom’s reaction one time with something he was wearing when she first turned around and saw him…that was funny….

…I’m a bit conflicted about David’s legs - gate just because he’s obviously quite recently, I think…lost a lot of weight and really feels confident to show off his legs…and they're very well groomed and waxed and polished etc…so he’s very proud of them and takes great care…so I think that’s nice to see him feel like that and feel his confidence…
