It is an incredible city
My parents loved it and I was there with them when I was a child.

Going back now and I went last year too.
I'm glad you enjoyed your honeymoon there, it's actually a perfect setting for one really.

I got to travel more around Italy this time too.
Anyhow, I'm already planning returning again next year.

Can’t afford it lad so I’m trying to save up so I can come back and visit the UK for a week or two :love:

I worked for a while down in the heel of Italy (Lecce) and I've skied up in the north (Turin area) but I'd really love to see much more of the country.

Sadly I got back on Saturday. :(

I can’t grumble though as this year I’ve been to Cape Verde, Liechtenstein, Denmark, Sweden, Tenerife twice, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany, France, Scotland, Devon and have Cornwall coming up. :laugh:

Also I highly rate Liechtenstein for more than a day trip. It’s a wonderful place.

Did you get a train there from Germany or Switzerland?

We drove over from Switzerland. But you can get the train into Vaduz from Switzerland or Austria.

I'm going back Thursday :bawling:

Have been south to the Cotswolds and north to the West Highlands this summer. Haven't been out of the UK on holiday for a couple of years, what a patriot!

never been there, but i love Switzerland and that looks very similar

I work 6 hours a week so feel I am on permanent holiday :hee:

Ohh you’d love it. Like a quieter version of Switzerland, but much smaller.
