BUT - you can be left wing and think he doesn't go on about Palestine enough  that particular twattery didn't have anything to do with being right wing.

It makes him look naively privileged and ignorant, which is definitely more of a right-wing associative. If he’s willing to go all Tracey-Ann Oberman (who obviously has deeper-seated reasons for her particular line of reasoning, as a Jewish woman), I just wonder what he says and thinks in private. Off the back of that comment it doesn’t look too good.

But I do think that he is unpleasant sometimes.

Yeah. He’s definitely not boring but he does have a vile side. Not saying he’s an out-and-out racist but he’s one of those middle-class white men who are painfully unaware of his societal privilege. That or he really is a complete-and-utter moron, and I don’t think he’s too stupid.

Daze is naïve and ignorant, and she at least comes off as coming from a privileged background, and she's pretty left wing.

Nathan strikes me as an intelligent man, so I don't think that he is a moron.

And tbh I still think back to his comments about Martha's dress sense, it's the only time this series where Nathan made me feel uncomfortable watching him, as I don't really like people's appearance being attacked on national TV by a fellow competitor.

That’s great but we’re not talking about Daze are we.

Well no, I was just pointing out that Nathan's (apparent) viewpoint ain't inherently right wing.

After what Nathan said about Palestine, he’s still banging on about Khaled being fake? Oh, the twat.

Did you not see the blood task a few days back? . He basically put Khaled on the spot ...over not being vocal enough over Palestine. He assumed Khaled would be discussing it with him. Nathan did it in a insensitive way imo.

Khaled confronted him afterwards, and said if he wants to actually talk about it then he will. But you can tell Nathan has no real effort or interest in discussing it with Khaled. He just wanted to prod Khaled for that particular task.

Oh, ok, that, I see.

Yeah, I saw it but I thought that was a comment about Khaled not him saying something about Palestine. I just hadn't heard him express an opinion on the Middle East at all so got confused.
