They cannot keep anything secret from the spy force known as TIBB :hugesmile:
We have the technology and the 'nosiness' to discover all.:joker::joker: |
Blimey what a turn up for the books!!!
Hubby has found the story on Teletext now about there being a suspect package. Wonder what the housemates are thinking of it all!!!! (P.S. Think Gos will go tonight) |
If it is an incident then the anti terror police will require several hours to vet a place for secondary devices.
A typical tactic is to have two devices, so when the services are attending the aftermath of the first attack, your second device takes them out as well. Maximum kill rate. That is what happened at Deal if I remember correctly, a second device was detonated when the police arrived. The whole programme should be cancelled, going on at 22:00 is not gonna be allowed to happen. If I was in the anti terror squad I would not allow it until there had been a full sweep which can take several hours. |
It might turn out to just be a bag that someone's left unattended though.
|
Perhaps they'll be glad to get out... perhaps they could lose Lisa somehow!!
|
Positive thinking as always sticks!!:xyxwave:
|
Lets hope its nothing sinister. But I'd rather they put off the eviction than put anyone in danger.
If it is a suspect package then as Sticks says there could quite easily be another hidden away so as not to be found. Fingers crossed. But better safe than sorry. |
Sticks, it's a "suspect" package. A "suspect" package is anything that's been left unattended. For example, say someone went shopping, bought some shoes in a nice big shoe box (I'm size 13.. so I get some big boxes), then put the box down and forget about it. It'll be deemed a "suspect" package.
The package is then investigated - if it's just the shoe box, with shoes in, then it's deemed to be a false alarm and everything returns to normal. Think about airports and their "suspect" packages, most are opened by normal police officers if they deem them to be nothing dangerous. M. |
Poor Davina I wouldn't like to do a show with that hanging over me if I was pregnant, maybe they'd be better to postpone it. You can't be sure these days. :conf:
|
I'm surprised no one has suggested that this 'suspect package' was planted by a BB exec as a cunning ploy to get media attention. :)

Ch4 BB site is not loading........

Channel 4 just said it's been delayed due to a security alert, I wonder what's happened...

Do you know how much it costs to bring out the bomb squad ? Big Brother is a high profile target for terrorist action. If you could mount a successful attack and kill a few housemates in the house as well the shock value would be incredible. I am surprised that no one has tried to crash a light plane into the house or carry out a mortar attack (A favourite and efficient weapon of the provisional IRA) The Real IRA would be a reasonable suspect, and we know they do not opporate with out the sanction of the provisional IRA. It might be a better idea if BB4 was cancelled tonight and we just be given a vote to win vote at a date later in the year and the wining candidate told then |
The evictions have been cancelled
No show for tonight!!!!! |
I though it might it's far too dodgy, thing is it say's on the bbc text that the housmates are still in the house, do they know what's going on in the outside world and if they do they'll be worried. There familys are out there and they won't have a clue what's going on. :conf: They'll have to break the rule about outside info for this one. :conf:
|
it has been cancelled??
|
I wonder if there will still be the 'what happened yesterday show':conf::conf::conf:
|
The live stream is LIVE. It is getting dark and the interior lights are showing up as it grows dark.
|
It is possible that they could be in the house... unlikely, unless the threat was decided to be minimal by police (which it may have been), at which point they will only evacuate the immediate area surrounding the "suspect package".
We shall see soon, however. M |
it just announced on s4c wales the evictions are cancelled for to-night but house-mates are all safe
|
Someone rang me at work to ask me what was happening with BB as it wasn't on!!! ( don't know why they thought i was going to be able to tell them from work! ) I hope the housemates are ok!
|
Sorry I know that this could be serious and all that, but how embarassing would it be if you were in the audience and left your bag somewhere by mistake and they cancelled all the evictions because of you

Blimey, that doesn't sound to good. :conf:

I trust the dogs more than Ch4.
|
All production staff have been removed from the production suite, e4i is temporarily under the control of people higher-up the food chain.
More information will be shown later, and rumour is full details will be on the review show on Sunday. |
Untill anybody can get back into the studios we will not see anything I am afraid. Unless the VT's have been taken to another site.
At least this is a bit exciting, but I reckon it is a bit scary for the housemates. Especialy the ones whose families are outside. |
Like I said before Big Brother is an excellent target to hit. I would have thought there would be greater media impact if on an eviction night a van would be driven to a nearby street and mortar bombs fired at the house.
Quite a deadly weapon used a lot by the IRA |
Oh bloody hell!! Sticks, don't give the scum bags ideas who ever they are. :conf:
|
The only thing those higher-up the food chain have the ability to update is the news upon e4i/c4i. Everything else is housed within the George Lucas building.
Ergo, totally out of the hands of those sitting in their cushy offices, other than the news - that is. |
It's totally off now for the night friends on next. :conf:
|
well c4 announcement said housemates were 'safe' but of course they'd say that either way
|
In the world of terrorism these are well known already.
Here is the latest from the BBC site A full sweep can take several hours or days. I think they should scrap Big Brother entirely and just do a phone poll to win, if that. |
anyone else think this could be the premature end to this series?:wavey:
|
More news from the BBC News Online:
A sniffer dog had indicated the "little box" could contain explosives, a Hertfordshire Police spokesman told BBC News Online. Bomb disposal experts have placed a 200-metre cordon around the house. The housemates have been moved to a room at the far end of the studio complex. -- 200 metres is more realistic, and at least this helps us understand more where the housemates are. |
We should all demand an extra week of BB4 to compensate!
