I'm sorry but its extremely doubtful. Scotland is the home of the greatest minds. |
My opinion on private school's is that they're not much better than state schools, you learn the same but you have much more homework. Private school's are meant to have small classes but most state schools have small classes as well now. There's nothing brilliant about private school's at all. If you want to do well at school then you'll do your best what ever school you go to.

It does look better on your CV though so its pretty useful. Then again I was going to go to the third worst school in Scotland instead of the third best if I hadn't got in to private school. I think the main thing that makes my school better than some is that it has much more extra-cirricular activities and much better equipment for it than most schools. |
my exam results

How many years into High School is Year 10? I'm in 3rd Year, meaning I've been a high school for 3 years. |

The English should learn from the Scot's schooling system. For example why do they call private schools public schools? Wheres the logic? |
I've not heard many people calling private school's public schools.

Wow old topic lol
Well I've never understood the logic of calling private schools public schools. |
Hah, full marks on my Maths NAB. So much for "You'll fail Maths."
 I'm really happy! Especially as Aberdeen are through to the group stages of the UEFA Cup, it's just been a really great period of time I guess. |
Anyone doing GCSEs this year? We should do TiBB Revision Sesions!
|
Next Week Friday my school are going to Italy!
but I'm not 100% happy because i got to the meeting late and everyone had a room! so now they don't know what to do with me lol so hopefully i will pick a room! |
I have my GCSE Drama exam Thursday, I'm getting scared Lol.
My DT project is due in on Friday, and no one in the class is near done. I also have an English Literature test this week, eeek. |

My piece is fantastic, I'm just scared about screwing up my monologue or dance routine. I have a french speaking mock on tuesday that I am NOT prepared for because of drama. |
Quote:
Argh, I know! I have a small monologue half way through, and just the thought of messing up is scary. Is it true you need to have a full conversation in French for the GCSE? |
Quote:
but we all have a part to shine in? and mine's a monologue {which is like. a page ¬_¬} annnd a dance routine? It should go well, it's a rare happy piece. 'confident view to body image' :] &yeah. you have to do a roleplay. |
Im picking my options in the next month.. :S x
|
I've already done my blank exams and I passed them ! So awesome to know that I can do it. 10 weeks left until the Baccalaureate, end of june ! The last weeks are very long so very good luck everyone for their exams !

Ouch! I could never, ever do that French exam. |
When I go back to school on Monday I only have 32 days left!(although I think it might be smaller). Graduate on the 20th of May,Leaving Cert June 4th-12th and then out into the big wide world. Scariness.

2 years on, even though it was the biggest shithole, I still miss it :bawling: |
I leave in 44 or something.
I can't wait. My school sucks. It's improving, but I'm glad to leave. We don't get study leave and have to attend lessons straight after exams, so I'm dreading that. I'm just mehh with school. Just want my GCSEs and out. It's weird to think I'm leaving. I'm at the stage in my life that both my sisters and dad have been through, but I'm going to come out with more GCSEs than nearly all of them combined =\ |
I am going to fail French! I am so rubbish at it! Everything else I am ok with, just french! Luckily Remy is helping me with my worst topics!
But I got a A* in a practise english paper today! :cheer2: |
People who are in yr7 + will leave when they are 16. People who are in yr6- will leave when they are 18.
|
Well you still have to improve. But it remembers me when I was younger and I was trying to speak english, I was rubbish lol But with a strong work, you'll speak very well...you just have to...work a bit more ! :spin2:

I'm doing GCSE's next year :(
My school has put a limit for the first time (Typicaly my year) where we can only pic 3 of our on subjects. Along with that we are forced to do English, Maths, Science, R.E, French and P.E. I can cope with P.E, English and Science, and I can understand having to do the first 3 no matter what (like any other school in the UK) but the limit and forced not-gonna-get-ya-anywhere subjects really aren't fair. |
