single :(

Split from my long term gf about a month ago. We were on off for 10 years. We are still mates but it was going no where, so we sat down and had a chat about what we should do. We both agreed it had ran it's course and although we still both love each other it was time to move on. I miss the cuddles but not the arguments. Miss the kids too.

Am not really looking for anyone at the mo, just having fun. If anything happens then it does.

As for cuddles, I have a cuddle buddy. A mate I have known for years. She is single too and if we go out we will sometimes end up holding hands. I am always welcome to go to hers and stay the night as we both like waking up in someone else's arms. It will go no further than cuddles though as we don't want to run the risk of confusing the friendship we have. It suits us both like it is.

I know what you mean and yes there have been times in the realtionship now when i look back and think yes i only stayed with them because i was scared,becuase i diddnt want to be on my own,becuase i thought id never have the feelings that i did with any other person.Its sounds a bit sad but its how it was at the time.Now however and for the past 5 months i have been truly happy,and i 100% dont want to be with anyone else.Yes we argue occasioanlly and things are always perfect but i have come to relaise that I am never going to have a perfect relationship all of the time no matter who im with.It may sound like im settling for what i already have but thats not the case.

if more gay people 'came out of the closet' then they would have see that there were lots of other gay people and that they had a better chance of getting a bf than they thought and maybe it would become more accepted even.I understand its easier said than done though

Have someone im potentially interested in, but not enough yet to stop me from looking elsewhere.

Apparently the largest percentage of long term successful/lifetime relationships come from childhood sweethearts/people who got together whilst in school.

Though im afraid it's not always down to good reasons, since apparently the majority of them stay together due to a routine being built into their love life from an early age, as well as never being able to break away from the fear of being alone to try and find someone who could make them happier.

Aw Dizzy,school can be a bitch cant it.I was bullied as well and ive been left school about a year and a half but i will always resent the people who made my life hell in school.Although now I see them as just people who had their own personal problems and so decided to take it out on me and when i think like that they look like a bunch of loosers-which they are of course:tongue:
