I must admit the idea of being buried underground with 'company' would mean that my fellow campers would be going hungry - there is no way I could do that.:nono::nono:
|
No me either Busy Bee
|
She did really well!!! Rats don't bother me that much! now had it been full of snakes the camp would have had no food due to me being a wimp

Just found this on I'm a celeb.....
LONDON (Reuters) - Nearly half the terrestrial TV audience have tuned in every night this week to watch ITV's jungle survival show "I'm a Celebrity...Get me out of Here," according to the broadcaster. A variation on the Big Brother theme,"I'm a Celebrity..." pitches ten well-known faces into the Australian jungle to fend for themselves for two weeks. Viewers vote them off the show one by one, eventually handing the winner a bonanza of publicity and an often much-needed career boost. Some ten million viewers have been tuning in every night this week, with Wednesday touching a peak of 10.8 million, ITV said in a statement on Friday. "The atmosphere in the camp is sure to get more tense next week when the evictions begin," it added. The programme, whose contestants include topless model Jordan, convicted fraudster Lord Brockett and punk legend Johnny Rotten, captured 50 per cent of 16-34 year olds from Monday to Thursday. The show revolves around contestants undergoing humiliating and often frightening tasks involving snakes, insects and crocodiles, in return for meal tokens. The tabloids keep up the momentum by devoting pages of newsprint every day to either real or imagined liaisons between the contestants, who are filmed around the clock in their jungle camp. On Friday, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond will be buried alive in a box, which will gradually be filled with water. Bookmakers William Hill said former Sex Pistols lead singer Rotten is 6/4 favourite. Article Here |
I have never wanted to watch this before, and kept well away, condemning it as a big brother spin off, with lots of wannabe celebrities. This year however, I thought I would give it a go, because there seemed to be a good mix of celebrities and I am HOOKED!! I take back all I have ever said. Jordan has proved to be lovely, so different to who I would have thought her to be, and Johnny is hilarious! Its great!!

OH MY GOD!!!
Big respect to Jennie Bond and those rats!!! |

Wonder how Rocket Brocket will get on tonight! |
I actually like John Lydon. He's alright. He reminds me a lot of
http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/im...oeandson_3.jpg Albert Steptoe Jordan is OK, but I wish she would tell Peter Andre to **** off. He is a walking cliche'. Dearie me, he is pretty narcissistic and vacuous, your archetypal 'himbo'. I like and admire Diane Modahl as a human being, but she, along with Mike Read and Angie Best don't really rumble or even faintly rustle in the jungle do they? Jenny was fantastically stoic in the rat infested coffin. Just don't even talk to me about Kerry McFadden. I think it's all calculated, so wimpy and pathetic. |
|
Who, this one? Yep
|
Your happy to hear then that she has to do the next bush tucker trail along with Jordan! This trail is a fave of mine EATING HORRIBLE BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Sorry. But is this Celebrity...... not just overfilled with bimbos?????? Kerry is just the worst and I like Jordan less and less the more I see her.
Peter Andre. Grow up!!! How old is he???:conf: |
Yep Amy a fave of mine as well
|
I see they got through the trail! Kerry did'nt moan about it this morning when i watched before i went to work!
|
Eurghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! but funny to watch the girls eating all those bugs!!
I was not expecting Alex Best to be doing the next trail! I'd forgotten she was still out there  |
Sorry there is no way any of those bugs would have passed my lips. Didnt appreciate how Jordan was putting Kerry off - perhaps she thought Kerry would do it and show her up.
Wonder what Jordan's boyfriend will have to say when she gets home - she is sooo winding Peter Andre up and he is falling for it. He is a 100% prat. I too had forgotten that Alex Best was there. Her, Diane, Mike and Razor seem to have made no impact at all and I would be very surprised if any of them made it to the end. Does anyone else think that the trials this year seem to be a bit worse than last. The chest collection is much more complicated than before. |

Diane Modahl is 'frontrunner for eviction'
Bookmakers William Hill and Coral both have Diane Modahl as the hot favourite to be evicted first from the I'm a Celebrity camp. The former middle distance athlete, who has been quiet since arriving in the jungle, has been given odds of 10-11 to be the least popular celebrity in the phone poll. Today is the last day the 10 celebrities will be together as tonight they find out which one of them has been voted out by viewers. Mike Read is second favourite for the boot with 9-4 odds. Jordan and John Lydon are still the frontrunners to win the title, with William Hill quoting odds of 6-4 on the ex-punk lifting the King of the Jungle crown and Coral backing him at 2-1. full article Here |
I hated those bugs yuck
I agree over the celeb chest as well I think either Mike, Alex or Diane is going tonight |
Well done to the girls for eating those insects, I wouldn't have done it, or if I had too, would have been sick doing it. :conf: I see it's still raining, turned on the telly this morning before work, and it was pouring down in the jungle, turned it on before, when I got back and it's still pouring.

I was a bit sorry to see Mike Read leave - he didn't really get a chance to feature much in the programme, not having done a Bushtucker Trial. The editing of the programme has a lot to do with how the public vote as well, think. Jennie definitely though she was the one who was going, and was putting on a brave face for the cameras. Alex was a STAR in her trial - that was the worst one yet, I think! |

I too think the editing had a lot to do with Mike's departure. Tonight I think it will be between Jennie and Diane depending on how she gets on with her bushtucker trial today. |
I agree BusyBee - think it will be either Diane or Jennie.
Well done Alex for last night's Bush Tucker Trial  |
I think it will be between Diane and Jennie but Razor could come into the mix as well
Alex did great last night but she did look funny I agree but you would if you been in a tank with eels and turkey feathers |
How difficult was that task that Diane had to do, although she was a bit of a wimp about the whole thing.
Is anyone else getting completely and utterly fed up about the whole Jordan/Peter thing. Not surprised Diane went. I'd like Alex to go next. |
Yeah Busy Bee it was v hard
I think its between Peter, Jennie or Alex tonight |
I'm surprised at the public voting this year! Seems the public keep changing each day with who they prefer! I was sure Jennie would have been up again yesterday.
I think Alex will go tonight if not Alex then Neil :wavey: |
|
Yeah i know Rob
If they do an eviction tonight I think it will be between Jennie and Alex |
Following John's 'escape' wonder if there will be an eviction tonight - or perhaps they will introduce Timmy Mallet. OMG No.:nono::nono::nono::nono::nono:

See the thing is , I related to John. Perhaps I am just showing my age and anarchist tendancies. in fact, on my way to teach my class of 11 year old treasures, I often listen to 'Anarchy in the UK'. It sets me up nicely.....
I transgress..... John, I liked him Jordan I can do without. Lord Brockett .. mm well, a tad camp Kerry .. I am warming to Jennie , a tad annoying Alex.. sorry is she STILL there?? Peter.. cringeworthy Have I missed anyone. No for me, whatever the result officially, John Lydon is king of the jungle. and I'm sure that's how he expects us all to feel! |
Jennie or Alex to go tonight I think
|
Well, there's only four left Kery, Jennie, Peter and Lord B!
I hope Lord B or Peter go tonight Kerry or Jennie to win  |
Quote:
|
Lord B Has Left :hello: and we are left with Kerry, Jennie and Insania oops I mean Peter
Still want Kerry or Jennie to win :wavey: |
Kerry to Win! Seems Pete might be in with a chance after all with Kate Jordon, Jordons just shouted over the balcony when being interviewed on ITV2 that shes interested and Pete heard and his face lit up. :spin2: God knows if it would last though. Might sell a few papers, the insaniacs couple  It's been the best I'm a celeb of the lot this one! :spin2:
:dance::dance: :spin: |

I really want Kerry to win:thumbs:and I can't wait to see her face when she sees her husband is there:love:
I agree I've enjoyed this years even more than the last two:thumbs: |
I am being a bit of a cynic by thinking that perhap Kate/Jordan has realised just how the media portrayed her and Peter's 'love story' and just how much publicity she can get out of it!!!!
I'm all for Kerry winning. Up until a fortnight ago I didnt think a lot of her, but she has blossomed in the jungle and is just herself. She in fact reminds me very much of another young lady who is also very loud and very down to earth. Go Kerry. |
