The celebs will be in control of everything that happens to the housemates from what they eat to when they sleep. And these are no ordinary housemates, Big Brother Celebrity Hijack will feature "exceptional, young housemates" boasts the press release. Apparently, "Big Brother has combed the UK for the hottest young artists, athletes, musicians, entrepreneurs and dons of every other field, to assemble a cast of pure prodigies". So no Charley, then? The housemates will be competing for a £50,000 prize.

Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack kicks off on Channel 4, Thursday 3 January at 9pm. Then every day on E4 at 9pm

You could have said that about this years "Get me out of Year' lot, but they turned out to be good on the whole.

Even the bitch Dickinson, who I disliked from day one, turned out to be game for a laugh even if she was multi faced cow.

Well obviously what they are doing is getting celebrities that are representative of the housemates 'talents' probably, so that's why they've got the artists and Brian Sewell as there's probably going to be an 'arty' type in there. They've got Ian Wright for the athletes, McLaren for musicians and some comedians for aspiring comedians that may be in the house (although Jimmy Carr, Keith Lemon and Matt Lucas are hardly what I'd call 'good' comedians)

Well lets hope that Malcolm Mclaren does/doesn't pull out at the last minute:wink:

Really? You haven't heard of Jimmy Carr, Matt Lucas or Ian Wright, hardly Hollywood stars I know, but are all on TV regularly and much bigger names than you would get in a proper Celeb series.
