It's Austin Drage - Billie Jean

Austins version of Billie Jean would split the nation, theres no doubt about it, but generally, the public thought it was good and Austin got through to the next week.

However, the judges and some of the general public hated the song choice and had already been done by David Cook in American Idol.

It's JLS - Umbrella

JLS's version of Umbrella seemed to definatley split TiBB. The backflips and bodypopping I can remember making one certain member nearly wet themselves.

However, they topped the voting that week, beating Alexandra, who the next week became the winner!

JLS's Westlife cover was the second part of their semi-final performances. Topping the voting that week.

They then repeated this in the live finals, again, to a strong level.

It's Alexandra Burke - Toxic

Alexandra took time off her usual ballads to show a bit of diversity, and it seemed to work very, very nicely.

Performing Britneys original Toxic routine, there was quite a bit of pressure on Alexandra to perform and having got through, she did.

Big Band week and Alexandra's big vocals certainly helped her deliver one of the performances of the night.

Another place where she avoided the usual ballad and still shone.

JLS - Working my way back to you/Forgive me Girl

Aston makes JLS history by taking the lead vocals from here on. He was strongly backed up by the rest of the group and a loud backing track.

Dannii claimed the performance "Brilliant" Cheryl cemented them as the best group on the X factor and Simon said "You're back in the race."

It's Laura White - Fallin'

Originally a favourite to win, Laura's performance of Fallin' absolutley bought the studio down.

Some say that she peaked too early, but this Jazzy style of Fallin' tipped Laura for the final. Shame she didn't.

I hpe Purple Rain isn't number 1, just because there is no clip of it :( but I would have liked that or 'Always', or Diana.

Ruth Lorenzo - Purple Rain

[Sorry for lack of proper video, but Prince is a bit of a cock as some are aware...]

Ruth's version of purple rain made her fanbase expand like crazy and put her from an outsider to a dark horse.

This is TiBB's favourite performance from the X Factor 2008. Agree? Disagree?
