I agree... it is a very politically correct BB house this year and I don't like it much
|
Agree.
My mate and I were like well pissed at the TV When russians and other losers from outside the UK kept coming in!:mad: Okay, Kat last year was fine and Darnell because they were just 2 and were cool people. But this lot  I swear if the public vote out all the English and leave us with a summer full of weirdos from other countries i`ll go mad! They better learn how to accually speak proper English if they want fans! BB Had so many good people over Youtube... Even them triplets that I hated I would rather have them in than half these people! "Best series ever!" Yeah sure.. No live feed No DR Uncut 40 Minutes of a crap edited show Hardly any people from the UK A **** house A boring Launch Night Twist (Y) Yeah Best series I`ve ever seen:yuk: |

Anyways, I am gonna keep it civil. My point was not agreeing with the ignorant who obviously doesnt even know what it means to be british, but just to say that the ethnicity in this years cast, isnt proportional to the ethnicity of the population. WHich is why I said its a fair point. They are trying to make it more interesting obviously, but of course a lot of people wont like it. I dont mind it, if you didnt know, not only am I black, I am also a foreigner. So your racist comment at the end there, was really stupid! |

Its Big Brother UK & Ireland firstly. And i think it is good that we have a group of very diverse people.. |
To be fair they're all current UK residents and BB rarely put in the typical average joe.
|
OK the original post was not worded too well I admit. My point is that this is British BB and 10 years on the house seems to becoming more extreme. Did the earlier series BB housemates not provide gripping & fun entertainment? I just don't think that this years housemates reflect the British public - which is what I would've liked to have seen. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure. Maybe the show is watched more by the likes of this years chosen housemates than by what I would call the general public. Again this is just my view, and it may sound harsh to some, but I'd liken the house to a freak show.

IS there a TiBB hall of shame? I think we could open up with this one. |

AND WHATS WRONG WITH HER BEING IRISH? AT LEAST SHE CAN STILL SPEAK ENGLISH AND SHES NOT FULLY IRISH! HER DAD IS JUST IRISH THATS ALL! AND I WOULDNT EXCACALLY SAY SHES "FROM SOMEWERE ELSE!" WHEN IRELAND ISNT REALLY THAT FAR OFF FROM YOU LOT IN ENGLAND! SO ITS ALRIGHT FOR ANY WELSH OR SCOTTISH PERSON TO ENTER BUT WHEN A HALF IRISH PERSON COMES IN THE ENGLISH DONT PLAY THAT GAME? God I would love to see your reaction when a REAL Irish person enters |

You're the type of person who comes on here looking for an argument, but clearly has no basis or ground for it. Or the ability to articulate their points furtively, but I'll let that one go cos you're amongst the masses of "Kthx" who feel their argument is validated by typing like they have a thorn in their finger. It's a generalisation because you're suggesting everyone within a specific socioeconomic group harbour the same social attitude, ergo, generalisation. Now, hop on. I have better things to do than educate you pesky Southerners. *signs off* |
lol Lauren luv ya!

You're the one thats bitching about too many non-UK housemates...Ireland isnt in the UK buddy. Only your part is...so by your own logic you're calling her a foreigner. I agree with you though. I pretty much throw all the Irish in with the British crowd. Same place at the end of the day. |

I find it strange that theres kids being killed on the streets as well as a run down economy but what actually makes you decide this country needs a change is hearing a few different accents on big brother? wow. |

Get over it. We live in a multicultural society, a multicultural world.

What sort of state would this country be in if the house was a true reflection of the multicultural society/world that you say we live in. So many people are trapped in their own little diverse worlds they don't see the REAL world. |

This thread is such a laugh to read through...
And the OP does sound kinda racist. Also, stop whining. There's always an English majority in the house regardless, white or black. You're lucky if there's more than one Scottish/Welsh/Irish person there. I think its good that theres people there from foreign backgrounds, it makes the show more interesting. |

Britain is a growing as a multicultural place and the people who go in the house will reflect that. It doesn't make any difference to me, and I disagree with the people saying you're racist, I think it's more xenophobia tbh
Also I think you mean British people as opposed to English people. |

OMG LMAO...erm I think some people are so trapped in their own little backyards they dont see the REAL diverse world we live in |
