I bite my nails and... eat them LOL
Things on my desk have to be on in a certain order
My coloured pencils/paints MUST be in order
I have to eat coloured sweets so that I don't end up with the same colour twice in a row.
If something brushes my left side, sometimes I brush my right, but then it doesn't feel right so I brush both sides until they feel even.
I count how many stairs there are when I go up them.

Oh and I have to make my eyes vibrate sometimes. I love to freak people out. Lol :)

I NEED to have all doors around me closed at all times.
I wash all cutlery before I use them even if they're clean.
I think I spend around 20 hours a day chewing on pens lol.

I think I have grown out of my wierd habbits. I'm very boring. LOL
The only few I can think of are;
I count stairs as I walk up them, but I find that quite normal.
I talk to myself; like full conversations outloud... LOL, I just found out that it was normal.
When I begin reading a novel, I have to read in even numbers of chapters. If I read one chapter I have to read the second. If I read the whole book and it ends on say, 15 chapters, I read the first one again to make it even.

I scratch my nose when I'm uncorfortable.
When I am watching T.V the door HAS to be closed but I don't mind it any other time.
When I'm bored I count things like tiles on the ceiling and how manyt steps I'm taking etc.
I sniff all the time even if I don't need to lol.

It's not OCD as once you have done it you feel better, people who have OCD never feel better after doing it it's always on their mind i though i had it and it's flung round as if it's fun but it's not,it's serious illness.
Yes. I have OCD. It's so mentally draining. I worry when my boyfriend has to go out, even if it's just down to the shops. I'm always thinking that he'll get stabbed or run over. It's hard to control my thoughts. If he is late to return home, I think the same thing, and I end up having a panic attack. It's not pretty.
The term 'OCD' is thrown about way too much and takes away from its true meaning because almost everyone claims to have it. but I'm pretty certain what you described ISN'T OCD. OCD is repetition of an action you cant help but do again and again, thats just a thought process/extreme worrying.

I do that as well! People think I'm weird for it though, but I just tell them if I ever go blind at least I won't have a problem walking up the stairs :joker:
