Charlie is the sort of boy who would have been teacher's pet and always putting himself forward to run errands or the first to stick his hand up and say 'me me me' when teacher asks questions. I knew someone just like that :(

I find him very contrived, like he has an imaginary ticklist he's going around fulfilling because "that's what you do to win" kind of thing. Not really buying the act at all, I think he has a sly streak underneath it all.

He is a fake. He is trying too hard to imitate Brian Dowling but hasn't one tenth of the charm. Everything he does has been done before and better.
