Martins and Owen will fire Newcastle to safety.

If they do go down though Shearer will stay with them and bring them right back up.

Shearer will stay, cos he won't want to seem like he bailed them. If he left, he'd still hold legend status here in the NE though.

Also; if they go down to championship - depending whether Owen or Martins stay - they could stay there a season or two.

They've got tomorrow to save themselves. Personally, I think they'll win tomorrow to at least give them hope. But we'll see. A loss tomorrow puts them in a bad position. Since Portsmouth are looking for a win badly too, could be a difficult fixture - but I still think Newc will win.

Arsenal played great today!

Just finished watching it.

Could have been about 5 - 1.

Diaby done well, Almunia was Quality, But Fabregas was on Fire.
Arshavin Also played well.

Novo 26-04-2009 09:42 PM

Allediare should have scored

what was he thinking

Locke. 26-04-2009 09:45 PM

Arsenal game was quite good, surprised they played most of their irst team though, thought they would have rested the likes of fabregas and walcott for Utd.

And yeah, I think if newcastle dont win tomorrow then they'll go down... think Martins and Owen will score though.

Adriano has temporarily retired from football, he has stayed in Brazil and had Inter cancel his contract. Wants time to think about his career.

Newcastle need Sunderland and Hull to play bad, Newcastle have a better GD which could help come 24th May.

Newcastle must get 3pts tonight.

This is so important to them.

If they don't get 3pts tonight, I don't think there's even hope of a scrape back.

IF they do get 3 pts (I think they will, and by a lot) - they've still a way to go to be even considered "safe" - but we'll just have to see. Could be a very exciting end of season (Except Sunderland play Chelsea, feck, hopefully safe by then).

andyman 27-04-2009 06:03 PM

If Newcastle stay up then Hull must go down, they gotta hope Hull don't get too many points.

Novo 27-04-2009 08:23 PM

Newcastle need a Goal
