Its about two kids (Troy and Gabriella that meet on holiday at a karaoke bar. Their forced to sing together, and they like it. Then later, they both leave with eachothers numbers. Then it starts off one week later at the new school term, Troy starts his basketball season, when Gabriella's a new student at the school. They later both audition for the musical, behind everyones backs and get the part. Then everyones out to seperate them, whilst others are trying to beat them. Half way through, Gabriella hears Tory admitting he doesnt like the singing and is just using her, which he aint, he was forved to say it becuase his friends were ganging up on him. She ignores him, then he apologises and they make up. At the end, they end singing with eachother and wow everyone, including troys dad, who didnt like him singing. Then it ends with Troy winning the basketball game and Gabriella winning her School one. They start to kiss, but get interupted.
