See I disagree Becky is overrated, she came into the soap hated. The fact the actress was able to bring her character around was beautifully captured by Katherine and the fact she's gone on to bigger things is a testimated to that. Everything she's been in since she's shone in.

Lacey is insanely overrated on here imo, she's given good storylines and drags them down to just average. She's Jessie Wallace part 2

Marsh. 29-05-2016 09:30 PM

Don't come for Jessie Wallace. :nono:

Denver 29-05-2016 09:31 PM

Jessie wallace is one of the best actresses in the UK so can we please not slag her off

Amy Jade 29-05-2016 09:31 PM

She's good at playing a dirty slag :hee:

Rob! 29-05-2016 09:32 PM

Katherine Kelly is amazing. I can't wait to watch her in Class

Amy Jade 29-05-2016 09:33 PM

I compare Lacey to Jessie because they're ok actresses being given fantastic storylines.

Imo there are actresses on Eastenders who would do their storylines more justice.

You should watch her in that film about the creation of Corrie.

Hard to believe it's the same person.

Possibly

I'm open to bring proved wrong about Jessie. It'd take something big to prove Lacey to me, I saw her on that god awful witch show :(

emmerTOPscale and rightly so (best soap awards) 30.05.16

i am so proud

at last wide spread is the silage

over my world is no cloud

it worked shouting it from highgate village.

tony warren is in our memory

everyone must applaud

i must have amnesia is the theory

but i still clap his award.

onto outstanding achievement

sorry to be negative but i blink

eastenders needs a permanent bereavement

forget steve macfadden pass me that drink.

not moving off the square

is the sun starting to shine

stacey and her psychosis will be less rare

lacey turner does deserve best story line.

wipe your eyes for the tear

water had a massive increase

val's death got scene of the year

"so the end is near" made me call the water police.

onto the best young performance

this is not for older lady's or blokes

a teeny boppers show is my ignorance

so sorry ruby o donnelland hollyoakes.

the best single episode

you don't need to call the quack

every time i watch it does explode

nothing does "doctors" lack.

now a award for dramatic

the female could not have acted ill er

lacey turner your research and acting was chronic

and so well deserved for aarron ie danny miller.

we need a bit of humor

a couple that are hilarious

a great double act was the rumour

sally and tim are like me delirious.

onto comedy

this lady is my guardian fairy

credit for her special remedy

i am sure i have proposed to "mad mary".

the best new comer is depressing

my bonnie langford love is rare

again my disappointment for EE i am expressing

my last laugh is on the square.

onto criminality

this man has the same effect as helium

villain of the year is the reality

he terrifies me but well done phelan.

lacey turner got best female actress

danny miller received the male version

the best soap award i now bless

rightly so EMMERDALE won so it shows no soap perversion.

( I do not need to say one thing other then THANK YOU LORD. )

All of the more successful new characters have been the smaller ones IMO, Pam, Les, Carmel, Kyle, Belinda etc.

All of the hyped "big" additions have flopped, from Gavin to Vincent and Claudette. :bored:

I think it's because the "big" additions feel they don't need to try that hard. They think they can just swan in and do what they do and it won't matter. They expect their storylines to take the wheel instead of them.

Tbh, I don't even think it's the actors fault but the writing behind them has been sh*te.

The new Johnny in EastEnders is nauseous.

Ugh, I wasn't a great fan of Johnny to begin with but the new guy is awful.

I'm sure he's an alright actor but the character is just a total cringefest.

They let him take his law exam despite dropping the course and coming back a week before the exam because he "fell in love"

Yeah, I don't get why they bothered with that crap. Why not just have the character return to uni in September? Very strange.

And him rehearsing in the living room, pretending to be in a court was cringe.

I'm glad Lacey won more awards than Danny Miller

lmao he got into a fight with my brother once, because he pushed in the line for a kebab (this was when he was first starting out in Emmerdale) but he saw him again a while back and they got on fine. His claim to fame imo.
