The Kate/Dan/Genelle alliance really grew on me in tonight's episode and I really hope they all make it to the end. Freddie and the UKIP gay need to be OUT immediately!

Big downturn this episode, it's like the producers told them the ratings were down and they needed more showmances. Feels very contrived, well I guess it was too good to last. Clearly Genelle needed another storyline and it's like they fed her it, now suddenly she's found some interest in Dan. And as soon as she enters the new woman wants a showmance. I preferred Mitchell and Aiden to this stuff.

The politics discussions are obviously very set up to go down a particular route as well, I'd rather they keep it more real and go with what these people normally talk about and know about.

And get an older person in, instead of 30 somethings who have to pretend they're a bit younger. I don't want a showmance show, there's enough of those. The producers seem to be panicking to me, they should be brave and go for it.


The Christopher message reaction was good at least. Sad she left as she seems more natural than the 3 newbies who have entered since. And at least Kate and Freddie aren't really found out at this point, they were just guessing about Freddie when he met Ryan before and Freddie suggested Kate was a catfish in this ep just to try and undermine.

gah this show is AMAZING :love: the political convo causing beef, the game playing alliances, the details all the way down to writing notes about what ya said it's SO good !!!

The writing down aspect is very reminiscent of The Mole where contestants have to work out the truth of situations. I'd much rather it developed in that way than down the showmance show route. It's more interesting to see contestants fooled than attempts to fool the audience with fake showmances.

I really doubt this will get a second series BUT if it does they should just put ALL the sequestered contestants in right from the start instead of having 8 players and replacing the eliminated ones.

I agree with this but too many players would get a bit confusing, I think the max would have to be 10 with two or three blockings a week

I haven't wanted a show to get a second series as much as this for a long time

My ONLY hope is that they put it on at 10pm as an experiment (like they did with Big Brother at 11 in the early days) with the hope of maybe nurturing it :fc: idk though, it's not looking likely

I love this series more and more with every episode. I hope C4 gives it a second chance despite the poor ratings.

Loved last night eps, everyone dragging Ryan was a scream, hope he’s gone soon, I really don’t like him and he sounds like Julian clary, which is annoying, only Julian clary can sound like Julian clary :fist:

The genelle/Hannah/Dan triangle is NAWT necessary and I feel like Hannah is gonna flirt with Dan now just because she’s been told not to

I think Genelle, Dan and the new ones have been told by the producers to do the flirting and it's very obvious.

Ryan's main story seems the whole psychic thing.

Some on the internet seem annoyed that the presenters went, maybe they are big fans of them, but I thought they got in the way of the first episode and looked superfluous. The contestants are meant to be the stars of reality shows.
