I'm not; the longer Ole's at the wheel, the better for everyone. :smug:

ManU is doing fine again now

good of the board to keep their confidence in Ole then :clap1:

I think the best they can hope for with Ole is to be like us in 2014. Massively entertaining shooting forward, bottling unnecessary games, always pipped to the post. He seems like a nice guy but I don't think they'll ever win anything under him and I doubt anyone's expecting them to. A shepherd with a herd of sharks.

Poor Wolves today though, Mike Dean really wanted Villa to win that game didn't he?

Denied a blatant penalty, and then conceding a penalty when it should've been a free kick for Wolves beforehand but was wrongly given to Villa.

More handholding for Aston Villa again.

Nicky91 12-12-2020 02:29 PM

hurray i guess for El Ghazi, former Ajax youth product scoring only goal for Villa

Newcastle - West Brom so far 1-0

I think Chelsea look far better with Kante back in his holding midfield role

What the hell is happening these days ??

Southampton earlier , then Palace and his Fulham all looking like World beaters !!
Over recent weeks I’ve seen great football from Brighton and WBA ..

All playing fabulous , super-fast flowing football !

All this whilst ManU , Arsenal and others have looked dreadful !?!

Yes the worst football in the league is now being played by the likes of Spurs, Arsenal, United, Leicester etc

Mystic Mock 13-12-2020 05:49 PM

Liverpool really got rescued by a bad Refereeing decision tonight.

Tbf to Liverpool though they're not the only high profile team across the top four English Leagues to benefit from "coincidental" bad decisions, and they certainly won't be the last, but my god how dare a player try and stop a ball from hitting him in the face.:nono:

Arsenal vs Burnley 0-1 at 76th

GiRTh 13-12-2020 07:47 PM

Aubameyang finally scores :joker:

Shaun 13-12-2020 07:49 PM

genuinely don't even want to support this club any more. Not the same as the one I grew up with. Don't see the point.

GiRTh 13-12-2020 08:04 PM

I really dont get these constant crosses into the box. Giroud left three years ago we dont have the players to play like that any more. I hate watching us, we're very predictable and there are clear fitness issues. We run out of gas after 60 minutes. If we dont score early we dont stand much chance against anyone

Calderyon 13-12-2020 08:08 PM

Arsenal vs Burnley ends at 0-1.

MTVN 13-12-2020 08:11 PM

4 home defeats in a row, 1 point from the last 5

Arteta out guys?

GiRTh 13-12-2020 08:24 PM

No cuz I dont see who we're going to get.

Arteta's naive but there are some plus points. Xhaka's indiscipline today solves a problem, for me, he doesnt have the legs to play the way Arteta wants and I hope someone like Willock or Maitland-Niles are given a decent go in Xhaka's absence. He needs to be phased out of the team TBh and I'm surprised he plays so many games.

The problem is we're predictable. We build downs the wings and hits crosses from way out on the flanks - often to no one in the box - Burney and most Premiership teams will take that all day. And we're not passing sharply enough to create more clear cut chances. Arteta's tatics need to change and he needs to adjust to his best team ., which I still dont think he knows.

Arsenal have got Southampton next.

Who would you guys play in that game Girth and Shaun? And what tactics do you think that Arteta should go with to try and win the game?

Shaun 14-12-2020 07:32 PM

The midfield is the main problem; Xhaka has been completely stale and inspired nothing in terms of attacking football. Maybe Willock would be better, maybe Ceballos, maybe Ozil... but to be honest I just don't think Aubameyang does enough, and don't think Lacazette is good enough aside from his 1 or 2 games a season where he seems to have lucky pants on. I honestly think he's a downgrade from Giroud.

We've just become a cash cow for agents to milk obscene wages out of, and I don't see it changing.
