Hmm, I'd say it's possible. Even at the worst case scenario, the Tories would be knocked down to a minority government.

You can't compare then to now. During May's snap election, there was no-one to vote for, both sides were deeply unappealing.

Now, I'd like to think people aren't falling for Boris' "Good Old Boy" persona, which won him the 2019 election - people voted for "Boris, the bloke who'd be fun down the pub", not Johnson the politician. Had Johnson not been PM during Covid and now Russia, such a spotlight might not have fell on what he's really like.

but they still lost a Massive amount of Conservative MP's
