HUGE ratings for Meghan and Harry’s interview Oprah, Harry and Meghan deliver MEGA RATINGS Meghan and Harry Ratings deliver a ROYAL FLUSH When you google the ratings this is all you seem to find, maybe seeing ONE article which makes a statement shouldn’t be taken as gospel OR as what the majority of people are predicting, now THATS being ill informed :wavey: |
...a little off topic because it was also on another channel...but it being revealed that comments had been made about possible skin tone with Archie...and that following on from Panorama earlier last night and ‘Let’s talk about race’ ...and revealing how much, racial prejudice is still very prevalent in our society and impacting people’s lives ...it was a a very interesting watch as well, I would thoroughly recommend...

not sure we have the UK figures yet? |
Oh right!
I couldn't think of any royal broadcasts to compare it to, perhaps the peados disaster interview |

Millions of people in the UK are thought to have tuned in to watch the interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that rocked the Royal Family. Viewing figures for the interview could be on course to match the almost 23 million viewers who watched the 1995 Princess Diana interview where Harry’s mother lifted the lid on the breakdown of her marriage to Prince Charles. Demand to watch online was so great that many viewers were left complaining of problems trying to watch it on the ITV Hub site. The programme, which saw Meghan tell Oprah Winfrey a member of the royal family had raised “concerns” when she was pregnant about how dark her son Archie’s skin would be, was repeated on ITV after it was first shown in the US. https://www.standard.co.uk/insider/r...h-b922944.html |
So possibly 23 million, wow!
Thanks Ammi |
I think the figures will be big, we are in lockdown and people are nosy, its hard to compare any figure currently given people have little else to do
That said I watched an episode of the Sopranos instead  |
Did you watch on Zoom with your family Ammi and comment gogglebox style

The one thing I hate is the narrative that Archie was banned from being a Prince for being mixed race when anybody who knows anything about the Royal Family knows only grandchildren in the direct line of throne get titles
|
I watched some of it then recorded it and watched the rest in small doses this morning. :hee:
