Hmmm.

I maintain my crackpot theory that she did a runner, and that's not exactly dissuasive ...

That is a crackpot theory, i've never thought that right from when she disappeared, someones abducted her.

:joker:

From the beginning I've thought she left via the river, on her new lover's boat. She left things as they were (the harness, the phone) so people would look at them instead of more relevant stuff.

She wore that huge coat to hide her different clothes.

Plus wasn’t it supposed to be about a foot deep anyways so that only leaves a gondola ..

Regular boating river it is. Do you remember seeing a car on the road?

A dinghy could do it.

It so far fetched though , the whole plan resting on not being seen by hoards of walkers , joggers , dawg walkers in broad daylight etc

Even drama series have more realistic scenarios

Hoards of people? We can count on one hand the amount of people known to have been in the area.

They seem to have been looking for and then ticking them off every day of so plus again if or was all planned they wouldn’t know for sure how quiet or busy it was likely to be on that morning ..

i don't think they are going to find her. The chief detective was asked if they would find her alive, and she said she hoped so, but she had just finished saying that the most likely scenario was that she went in the river

It's like asking your partner where are the scissors and they say "in the kitchen drawe"r

So you go in kitchen and look in the drawer but it's totally empty

So you tell them this and they say "well I still think the most likely scenario is they are on there and I have no other evidence to suggest they are inany other place in the house"

Crimson Dynamo 15-02-2023 04:48 PM

Now says on DT site

She had significant issues with alcohol

:omgno:

A police statement said: "Nicola had in the past suffered with some significant issues with alcohol which were brought on by her ongoing struggles with the menopause and that these struggles had resurfaced over recent months."

Cherie 15-02-2023 05:12 PM

So she has done a runner then? sounds like it to me

MTVN 15-02-2023 05:12 PM

More great communication by the police :skull:

She did.

In a boat.

With her new man.

Or are they saying this means she's likely to have been pissed, fallen in, and passed out
