Girlband-Better than what I expected but I'm still not impressed.It's just your typical girl group performance on this sort of show.5/10

Austin-I think the nerves got to him.Just too quiet and not quite in time for the first part of the song.He showed potential and I'm sure there's a lot better to come but he's got to step it up.6.5/10

Daniel-Very poor beggining, his voice was just too low and verging on out of tune.He did improve towards the end but there's no star quality about him.6/10

Alexandra-One of the only people to come out and really own the stage.Nice to see her do an up-tempo number and still show off her range.8/10

JLS-Such a challenging song to be given at such an early stage but I really enjoyed it.Think a group like them is just what the charts is missing at the moment.8/10

Scott-Oh dear,what an utterly awful song choice.They did a very poor job of moving him away from being a bluecoat and it was just a mess.3/10

Rachel-I really like that song and I like Rachel's voice but the combination wasn't quite right.I still think she sung it well though.7/10

Diana-How refreshing to have someone like her on the show.She seemed to start off like a rabbit in the headlights but came alive by the time she started the chorus, great song choice.8/10

Bad Lashes-I thought this was a real letdown.They did well at bootcamp and got a good song choice tonight but they were out of tune.4/10

Eoghan-He's got a really pleasant voice but there's hardly any power to it.I thought he did a pretty good job though.7/10

Ruth-Her style isn't really to my taste but she did better than I expected.I've noticed she kinda cuts off too soon at end of each line though and it's a bit off putting.5/10

Laura-One of the best opening night performances of any series.I think she's just going to get better as her confidence improves.9/10

Rachel should be out, i think. She didn't sing teh song she spoke it and the thing is, it could hvae been good. Dannii done well and the song could have set her apart, but she wasted it!

Leon was really good.
I'm obsessed with that song atm.
The nerves showed, but I think people forget that he's nowhere near as experienced as the previous winners. He'd only been singing 11 months or so. Compared to Steve, Leona and Shayne's years of experience.
