2.1m.
Looks bad but it was on at 10pm (its clear that the 9pm slot does much better) and the weird techincal difficulties with the repetition made people turn off, well it made my friends turn off, when they saw the unicyle thing again they were like "WTF" lol. Also it finished 5 mins late.

Another good thing is that last week got 1.8m, so its 300,000 up on last week. Every single HL show this week has been up on last week's... so techincally speaking we should be getting 2.5m+ for the eviction as this week is about 200-300,000 up on last week on average.

It was C4 most watched show by nearly 300,000 and came 2nd in its slot instead of the usual 3rd it comes at 10pm.

Has anyone ever realised that the majority of people could be watching it on Channel +1, instead of Channel 4, an hour earlier?

Yep the officials add 4OD and +1, thats why the officials are sometimes 300-400,000 up on the overnights. Not sure of the C4 and E4 on the next day are included. But when looking at the officials it doesnt look that bad. Sophia's eviction got 3m, not too bad at all. The second week (Cairons eviction week) was quite high in term of ratings.

hippychick 10-07-2009 06:32 PM

there would be a higher average if it wasnt shown on a saturday

Marc 10-07-2009 06:32 PM

Tonight's eviction should hopefully pull in a few more 0.1 millions!

Spike 10-07-2009 08:03 PM

Its unusual that in the officials the eviction shows don't make a bigger increase compared to ordinary highlight shows, thats been the case in previous years

Spike 11-07-2009 10:25 AM

2.1million and 2.2million for last nigths shows

Jordan. 11-07-2009 10:27 AM

I thought it would of been more then that last night
At least more people watched the second show :cheer:

*mazedsalv** 11-07-2009 11:41 AM

Remember its not including +1.

2.1m is good when up aggainst Torchwood finale, and the 2.2m is good for the 2nd show (only 100,000 down on last weeks C4 only rating) 2nd show had almost a 14% share which is great.

Will be on par with last week when +1 is added i think.
I think 2.3m and 2.3m again.

Also the 2nd show when looking at the 15 mins breakdown got over 2.4m on C4 only at 10:45pm which is quite a good peak nowadays.... i think it was the peak. It had a share of 15.2% which is very big!!! Peak be over 16% when +1 comes in.

alan1965 11-07-2009 11:58 PM

sorry guys this show has dropped big time. no live feed lost millions of viewers.in bed now 12.30 who wants too watch this rubbish. put it live otherwise we stop watching simple as that.snooze

alan1965 11-07-2009 11:59 PM

i think 1.2 million viwers.own fault.pennie pinchers

Spike 12-07-2009 12:10 PM

1.4million for last night
The C4 showing was just above 1million, obviously hit by the Katie Price interview, good job that +1 was higher than usual

alphabetgreen 12-07-2009 04:15 PM

This whole sorry escapade is due to the fact that, for the very first time in the history of Big Brother since the summer of 2000, this series has not been covered by the red top papers. Newspapers like The Sun and The Mirror used to publish full length reports and considerations every day on the progrees of each series. This year they aren't.

It's incredible how much power the media have these days. In fact, I would esimate that The Sun in particular has the power to choose the winningi party of each General Election, and played a big part in having Labour win office in 1997.

True or false?

BB3 deserved six milllion viewers, what with Kate Lawler running around naked, Jade getting her 'map of Tazzy' out, and John and Alex at each others throats. Jolly good telly.

*mazedsalv** 13-07-2009 08:40 AM

So far INCLUDING +1

Friday (1)- 2.25m = 2.3m
Friday (2)- 2.34m= 2.3m

Both shows only 100,000 down on Sree's eviction which both got 2.4m.

Marc 13-07-2009 08:41 AM

Last night's episode was so boring, I was hardly concentrating on it at all, bet its ratings were low

*mazedsalv** 13-07-2009 08:56 AM

Weekend Including +1 (last week)

Friday(1)- 2.3m (2.4m)
Friday(2)- 2.3m (2.4m)
Saturday- 1.5m (1.7m)
Sunday- 2.0m (2.1m)
