I honestly think it will involve mainly newbies, at this point.

They might chuck in a few international houseguests in for good measure and do the vote again.

That's what lost him the game, nothing to do with feminism or gender or anything. I remember watching the RHAP Backyard interviews and Natalie's reasoning was just "why would I want to give half a million dollars to someone who was a jerk to me?" and that's Jury 101.

LukeB 05-03-2017 04:15 PM

To be honest i don't think Natalie voted Nicole because she's a female, just realise she isn't actually TeamFemale/GirlPower if she was, she wouldn't have bitched about a female behind their back and let two females bully another female. other than disgustingly accusing someone of sexual harassment because they didn't like her she was trying to get dick from all the males but got stuck with James her last resort.

Macie Lightfoot 05-03-2017 04:21 PM

yes, because True Feminists aren't allowed to have any sort of interpersonal conflicts with other females. Makes sense!!!

JerseyWins 05-03-2017 05:37 PM

I think sexual harassment was a bit strong of a word to call what Paulie did/said to her at any point but he was definitely a jerk to her. Paul being a jerk to Natalie? Not so much. He was pretty friendly with her, he just has an abrasive personality (typically jokingly) with everyone and Natalie is just a sensitive person (think back to the stuff with Victor as well) - which is fine. It makes sense for Paul to lose her vote if she feels that way but Paul was never actually very mean to her. Whether she voted for Nicole only due to being a female idk but I don't think so & I personally think Natalie was a quality character regardless of that.

But can we at least all agree that Bronte was amazing though and should be on BBCAN5?

I was more talking about her accusation towards Paul and then admitted he didn't. Paul wasn't that bad towards Natalie at all if anything he was more awful to Michelle, he called her a c u n t which is worse (since everyone was like :o wtf) but Paul didn't intend to hurt anyone and is a good person he has his own meaning of fun like most people do which makes him an interesting character. if everyone had the same type of fun it wouldn't be that entertaining.

I want a season full of newbies with two internationals.

Save internationals all-stars for the future.

Me too.

The best part about last season was how seriously everyone took the game, and then Nikki and Tim come in and completely disregard the competitive spirit and take the piss out of it. I'm still in love with the moment where Loveita and Sharry were on the block, and Nikki was like "Let's both vote to evict a different person and cancel each other's votes out :amazed:" to everyone sitting in the lounge like O_O

He was pretty friendly with her for some time but completely burned that bridge on her way out. Paul's entire MO was to float from group to group and dogpile on that week's pariah as they were on their way out the door and that is... surprisingly not a good strategy to win Big Brother! He did it to Frank and Bridgette, he did it to Paulie, he did it to Natalie, and he even did it to James at the very end of the season. Natalie tried to make amends with Paul but he just brushed her aside and didn't care, and that understandably weighs more on someone's mind than how good of friends Natalie and Paul were weeks earlier. Like, even Natalie's jury question was pretty much asking Paul if he ever feels bad for crossing the line with how he treated some of the other HGs and he basically just laughed at her question and dismissed her hurt feelings as "well that's just my personality!" which shows that he really doesn't get it.

Yes I remember that and i love that moment too! Maybe it wouldn't be that amazing as last year because the first time is always the best and it's hard to beat but with the rumours I rather have two internationals rather than a full cast because some of the names are :s/meh/strange. If you're going to international all-stars, it should be big and the best of the very best.

LukeB 05-03-2017 06:24 PM

Because we had no instant eviction last year I hope that means we will never have that twist ever again. It's shocking at first but it's not that shocking if you do it every season.

Yeah, it would be difficult to surpass Nikki's BBCan stint.

The rumours are really iffy, which causes me to believe it won't be happening. They're just too scattered and nonsensical at the moment. I'd love to have Tahan and another random male.

That's true. I just don't think he was actually that mean of a person to anyone, he just gave zero *****s and it was all part of his sense of humor. His problem was he thought people would see & accept that and give him the win anyway. But sh*tting on people on their way out the door is definitely going to lose you votes and that's why I see why Natalie wouldn't vote for him. :joker: (I also remember thinking that keeping on an act in his goodbye to Da'Vonne that he had no idea she was going was bad jury management as well so it started early)

The real problem is Paul had an absolutely concrete win against James and didn't take it. I was rooting for him the whole time and thought that was the only real mistake he made.

I agree, some of the names made me think it won't happen. Christopher is such an hilarious rumour :joker: Lisa and Jake would make sense if it's ex's. I've been hoping for international all-stars but i had Nikki,Dan,Janelle,Danielle R,Rachel Reilly etc in my head. i would have said Dr Will but he hates BBCan </3..I would love Tahan and a random male too. I think that was back in when BBOTT was on I think so they could have have changed their mind. When big brother say it hasn't been done before, it really has, Big Brother Australia said that (icr what twist it was) but it had been done before.

VanessaFeltz. 05-03-2017 06:53 PM

I honestly dont care if it is all newbies as long as we get a LIKABLE group.

Last years cast was basically as disgusting as any bbus seasons except for nikki and the people who could be likable paige, sharry etc went early

I agree, for all of Paul's bad jury management which undoubtedly cost him the game, he had an opportunity to salvage the situation by taking James to the F2. I'll never forgive him for pulling the second dumbest move of all time in that situation (Cody cannot be beaten) and lumbering us with one of the worst winners of all time.

The problem is none of the big names would ever do it. An international All Stars series is a pipe dream of a lot of Big Brother superfans but hoping that it would happen with a stellar cast is another thing altogether. The very idea that such a prospect could become reality is good enough for me, it would be so innovative, daring and cool that they could literally cast first week evictee fodder from around the world and I wouldn't care.

As I said the other day, the only other strong rumour we've had is the exes/couples/showmances theme and if it's all newbies it's pretty much guaranteed to be that, and a redux of two of the worst seasons of BBUS is not the kind of 'never been done before' twist I had in mind. Not to mention the fact that I think newbie seasons in general - as ridiculous as I realise this sounds - are a bit overrated? The majority of seasons of any reality show are all newbies, and there are plenty of dud seasons of them along the way. Of course they're a necessary prerequisite of any returnee season but I don't think they're all that in the grand scheme of things. Given the choice between another bog standard newbie season (with the potential of it being showmance themed) and a dream I never thought would become reality actually happening, I'll jump at the chance of the latter.

I kind of want to see Christopher just because how random it would be. I don't know if he's cut for the nomination ceremonies though, I just picture him crying and struggling to breathe during face to face nominations, bless him.

I feel like Tahan is a believable rumour because of her connection with Tim, and Nikki and Christopher are also connected through panto :p I remember her saying so on the feeds.

I thought it was gonna be a regular BBCAN thing because they did it for three consecutive seasons but it seems like they dropped that concept. I hated that you couldn't fight for veto. I wouldn't mind the triple eviction returning but this time have two vetos and everyone eligible to play. I don't like that the triple eviction in theory can wipe out an entire alliance there should be two vetos with three people on the block.

Here's a theory for you based on tinfoil-hat level evidence: I'm pretty sure Neda's sister (@Roya_Kalantar) is tweeting for her.

If you look at the style of their latest tweets, they have the exact same structure. Both Roya and Neda's recent tweets use a double period to break up the sentences. Here's an example:

Neda Kalantar@Neda_Kalantar 4:17 PM
@RobMRosenberg haha..didn't they make a dating app just for that already?

Neda Kalantar@Neda_Kalantar 4:36 PM
@RobMRosenberg @VICE definitely not as much content as the US one..I think

Roya Kalantar@roya_kalantar 12:02 PM
@TheBBPresident hahaha..that would be horrible! Funny, but horrible

Roya Kalantar@roya_kalantar 12:50 PM
@TheBBPresident I don't think any sane person would understand..it's so messed up

If you look back at Roya's old tweets, she's constantly using double periods in her tweets, while Neda never does.

Thank you for indulging my conspiracy theory. I will now head back down to my bunker.
