Makes you wonder if Kat back has trodden on tootsies.....

i read about Kat coming back causing a stir, didn't think it was true, but with the mass of people leaving now...

Anyway, i hope Stacey and Jean leave in a climatic but happy ending, i think they are great characters and deserve to have a happy ending in some way

Jackie 29-04-2010 03:39 PM

I wont read spoiler although im sure it will be in the paper.

I think this is my first time on this thread. I started watching EastEnders again around the time of the live episode and ever since have been addicted.

I'm not happy Stacey is leaving. There was a lot of potential for great storylines with the baby but maybe it is best for her to leave because the character has been very over-exposed. I can't believe the Slater clan is being broken up just when it was being added to with Kat returning

Patrick 29-04-2010 04:16 PM

The slaters have fallen apart, funny how about 3 weeks ago we all thought they were returning and being rebuilt.

pfft.

I love how Kirkwood is talking in that interview as if he has knowen Lacey for years.
Would like to hear Diedrick Santer's opinion on her leaving.

I hope Stacey doesnt leave too soon, I want to see her with Kat :(

And Jean's exit is still being decided upon while the door is being left open for Stacey?
I bet they have Jean kill herself.

Callum 29-04-2010 04:33 PM

Apparently Lacey renewed her contract one last time last year and never intended on staying longer. She's had to turn down loads of film offers etc. because of EE so it's understandbale she wants a change. I'm sure she'll be in loads of films. It's just sad that she's leaving when Kat is coming back. I thought they would have a mother daughter bond.

ButterflyGirl 29-04-2010 07:17 PM

Poor Christian :(

Callum 29-04-2010 09:42 PM

Yeah I know ^ the abuse he recieved was just awful. For Masood to just walk away and leave him as well was disgusting, but I expected that. :nono:

I didn't like the Ben/Louise scene where he went to burn her with the spoon, was pretty uncomfortable, but apparently his treatment towards her gets a lost worse soon.

Spike 29-04-2010 09:46 PM

That behaviour from Ben tonight came from nowhere (I haven't read spoilers for ages)
He acted it so well and I hope its the start of a great storyline.
I do hope Ben ends up being gay, it would be a great storyline for Phil as shown tonight.

Kerry 29-04-2010 10:31 PM

Wheres Bens hearing aid gone?! It had totally vanished tonight!

Don't like this weird mean strek. He just can't act it

Stacey. 29-04-2010 10:34 PM

when Ben did that spoon thing tonight, that Stella did to him..
it actually made me shiver D:

Callum 29-04-2010 10:35 PM

One thing I've noticed about Ben is that his acting is gradually improving. I thought he acted quite well tonight, first time in a while I'm able to say that. The whole abusing Louise storyline could be really interesting.

Patrick 29-04-2010 10:36 PM

Ben trying to be straight and get into Phil's Bed.. not hapepning.

Fail.
Was so hard watching poor Christian get beat up.

I hope someone smashes Amira's Dad's head in.
I would love to know what Amira had to say about Christian being beat up, I mean they were best friends despite everything.

Kerry 29-04-2010 10:37 PM

Have to say, the likeness they got with Lisa and Louise is uncanny. You'd think she was actually Lucy Benjamins daughter!

I'm the opposite. I cringe everytime he says something

I agree with you on this one! I can't wait to see them both on screen together, well hopefully they will be in the special episode later in the year.

Tom4784 29-04-2010 10:40 PM

Ben was cringeworthy as ever today, He quite simply can't act. His scenes would be hilarious if I didn't cringe through them.

Hmm I'm not saying he is good by any means, he still is a piss poor actor but he has got better, in my opinion anyway. But I'm starting to think now maybe he shouldn't have been given a storyline like this because he won't be able to pull it off without looking cringey like you said and awkward. We'll soon see, no doubt Ofcom will get loads of complaints about it though.

She is a mini Lisa isn't she? Right down to the fiesty streak and mannerisms :D

He's at a 'cringeworthy' age though too I guess. His voice just breaking and it would seem a massive growth spurt has just grasped him. Everythings looks all gangly and awkward as it is :)

Yes she is, never noticed the similarity at first but it's very noticeable now. Good casting on EE's behalf.

Stacey. 29-04-2010 11:02 PM

i dont like Louise, but i loved Lisa. :D

Patrick 29-04-2010 11:18 PM

Can Ofcom actually recive complaints over bad acting?
